We spent how much tax dollars on THAT? (and other reasons to watch this week’s Full Measure)

Four Reasons to Watch this Week’s Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson:

1. Unfit to fly. A story that even shocked the Inspector General for Afghanistan. He found a whole fleet of airplanes paid for by the US that were never used. The bill is astounding.
2. Is the European Union at risk of dissolving? Many think the pressure of terrorism and too many refugees threatens the very nature of the European Union. Some countries are calling for closing the borders to monitor potential terrorists. Scott Thuman reports from Berlin.
3. A case of shocking neglect. When we discovered one horse farm shut down and an owner indicted for misbehavior, we took a look to see if equine abuse is a national problem.
4. And a special Campaign Incredible: some of our favorite moments of the campaign trail over the past few months!

  1. Hi. Love your program. Just watched it for the first time and would like for you to cover the refugee program and the illegal problem. Our border and lack of enforcement and cost.
    Thanks
    R.Stephens

  2. Love that you are bringing all this to light, but I question the “accountability” aspect. There’s nothing said about what can be done to return tax dollars to tax payers, collect from so-called contractors for defective whatever, or even steps to prevent all this waste. Vote? Always do, or at least have – yet, this is what we get. What can truly been done to hold responsible parts truly accountable – no simply expose their wrong doing. In a bona fide business – someone would pay something, there’d be some sort of financial restitution. Are we always gonna be just hearing the truth and not told what can be done about it?
