I caught my breath when I heard FBI Director Christopher Wray testify to Congress that there’s been no abuse of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), the law under which our intelligence communities electronically spy on possible terrorists and sometimes capture private communications of innocent U.S. citizens.
It was an incredible claim. And it doesn’t fit the evidence. Read my take at The Hill:

Just finished reading your book The Smear and I couldn’t put it down once I started.
It was a bit disheartening when you noted “the goal is often to destroy ideas by ruining the people who are most effective at communicating them”.
On the other hand I found it encouraging when you described the outcome of the presidential election by noting:
“Trump’s supporters learned to view the media’s criticism of Trump with skepticism. With dislike for and distrust of the media so widespread, perhaps the most effective thing the press could have done to thwart Trump would have been to embrace him.”
I think the greatest take away I have from reading your book is a paraphrase of the final sentence:
“Who wants me to believe this and why?”
I will be looking at all media far more carefully.

I love your hard hitting reporting.. It is very tantalyzing..
I have to comment though, on the E-Verify story.. You have to be aware that while Barack Obama was in office several attempts were made to verify his social… He was and remains un-verifiable, to my knowledge… Would have been nice to hear that on your broadcast, but alas it would have caused scores of negative responses, probably…
