Organs from Chinese prisoners harvested: Insider account

A horrifying practice is happening in China: dissidents in prison are being killed for their organs. That’s according to Steven W. Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute, who writes about the practice in an article published the New York Post.

Mosher documents a graphic and terrifying account from Zheng Qiaozhi, once an intern at China’s Shenyang Army General Hospital. The former hospital worker is quoted as saying he saw the following as part of an organ-harvesting team:

The prisoner was brought in, tied hand and foot, but very much alive. The army doctor in charge sliced him open from chest to belly button and exposed his two kidneys. “Cut the veins and arteries,” he told his shocked intern. George did as he was told. Blood spurted everywhere. The kidneys were placed in an organ-transplant container. Then the doctor ordered George to remove the man’s eyeballs. Hearing that, the dying prisoner gave him a look of sheer terror, and George froze. “I can’t do it,” he told the doctor, who then quickly scooped out the man’s eyeballs himself.

According to Mosher, Zheng says he quit his job almost immediately, horrified by what was asked to do and what he saw. Zheng is also quoted as saying he fled China, fearful of the possibility that he could one day end up like the prisoners he’d seen.

Human rights observers say specific groups that go against China’s policies are targeted, such as Falun Gong – a Buddhist sect that was deemed harmful by the Chinese government in 1999. Many members were arrested, imprisoned and never seen again.

Mosher says Muslim minorities could be next, with millions of Uighur and Kazakh men being sent to Chinese concentration camps.

  1. I’m a 74 year old and can only hope Women like Sharyl Attkisson are a protected species!
I have been reading “The Smear” and have never in my vast reading addiction ever had my eyes
opened more than in reading this book. It should be High School required reading …….

  2. This story misses one part of the transplant cycle. My now deceased partner and I dealt in PRC. Our contact was a member of the Central Committee. She owed us a “best friend” debt. About 4 years ago she offered us the opportunity to participate in the transplant business; we were to secure the DNA of prospective organ recipients and forward the same to her. Then the prisoner population would be searched to find a match and the selected prisoner would be executed when the proposed recipient was present in China. A solution to the stale organ issue. We passed! I had no direct communication, on this issue,. with the CCCP member, My partner was responsible for the on-going connection. As a lawyer, I distrust hearsay but my partner was well connected and was aware of the parallel (as often happens in Mainland) organ business being run by the Red Army.

  3. Sharyl Attkisson, I am a fan of your work so this was disappointing to read. These Western organ harvesting atrocity propaganda has been debunked a long time ago. See sources below.

BTW, Tibetan “genocide”, “tank man” at the Tiananmen Square Massacre, 2 “million” Uyghurs locked up in “concentration camps”, Chinese “debt traps”, etc have also been debunked.

In fact, it would be useful for you to read (if you haven’t done so already.)

U.S. representatives have found no evidence to support allegations that a site in northeast China has been used as a concentration camp to jail Falun Gong practitioners and harvest their organs, according to the U.S. Department of State.

Officers and staff from the U.S. embassy in Beijing and the U.S. consulate in Shenyang have visited the area and the specific site on two separate occasions, the State Department said in a written response to a question taken at the April 14 daily press briefing.

“In these visits the officers were allowed to tour the entire facility and grounds and found no evidence that the site is being used for any function other than as a normal public hospital,” the response said.

  4. Why would the doctor slice open the live, awake prisoner from chest to belly button when every doctor knows that the kidneys are most easily accessed from the lower back without going through major organs and arteries as this doctor would have had to do? Slicing the prisoner as described would definitely not have exposed the kidneys. I cannot believe this story. Did the doctor also take babies from their incubators and toss them to the floor as those horrible Iraqis did to Kuwaiti babies to justify our attacking Iraq? Isn’t i time to recognize obvious propaganda when we read it?
