Scottish police are reportedly investigating horrific allegations of child abuse by Catholic priests.
The incidents reportedly occurred at a Catholic-run foster home in Falkland, Fife in the 1970s. The alleged victim, Dave Sharp, is now 60 years old. He was just 12 at the time and had been in foster care since his mother died when he was just one.
Sharp described to authorities being raped by priests during "satanic" drink-fueled sex parties. He is quoted as saying one of the priests began grooming him by telling Sharp that he loved him, which "no-one had ever done" before.
Some sexual abuse was said to have taken place in foster home's shower rooms. One attack came after Sharp said he asked about the whereabouts of a friend who had disappeared. It turns out the boy had committed suicide. Sharp said a drunken "religious brother" tied him up, gagged him, and attacked him.
