During a Chicago speech to the nation’s police chiefs, President Trump raised the false accusations made by actor Jussie Smollett.
Smollett, who is black, falsely claimed that white Trump supporters wearing “Make America Great Again” hats attacked him in the middle of the night and hung a noose around his neck.
Police later determined that two black acquaintances of Smollett staged the ‘attack.’

Mrs. Attkisson. Your story is inaccurate! Jussie Smollett did not stage an attack on himself, and that was just false accusations given by the Superintendent of Chicago who constantly lied and was unethical in his reporting of the facts in Mr. Smollett’s case. The case was dismissed and Jussie hasn’t had the opportunity to refute the allegations against him especially because of reporters like you that just keep this lie going in the media! Those two brothers acted alone and if everyone would get off of Jussie’s back and stop the rotation of this inaccurate lie about him then and only then can the real truth come out because Jussie will be given a fair chance to defend and prove the accusations against him to be false!
(The story is accurate; it states that police found he staged the attack. Additionally, he originally stated the attackers were white people wearing MAGA hats. The video showed, and it was not later disputed, that the attackers were two black brothers who knew Smollett.)
Agree but what has happened to the two people who attacked him? If they say they acted alone send them to jail, then ask him if he wants to visit his attackers in jail? I am sure he will admit his lies and then he should be also charged with everything that is legally able to be thrown at him! May! May they all enjoy jail together, or do you think they have fooled everyone?
Anyone who ever lived in Chicago knows that it is not MAGA country. The claim was false from the get go.
