POLL: Majority believe voter ID laws are designed to suppress fraud

Ninety-three percent (93%) of respondents say that voter ID laws are designed to suppress fraud.

Just over 1% say voter ID laws are designed to suppress votes. Another 1% of respondents believe that voter ID laws are designed to both suppress fraud and suppress votes.

Four percent (4%) say that the laws are not designed to suppress fraud or votes. And fewer than 1% of respondents said they “don’t know/don’t care.”

  1. Even Democrat voters favor voter ID by large margins. This tends to show that they are fools, deluded by their crooked leadership.

This makes the issue a litmus test – any discussion involving (D) leaders should start with their position on voter ID. If they are against voter ID they do not have enough integrity to be worth dialogue, and even (D) voters can understand why.

By voter ID, I mean any ballot integrity measures, including video of voting locations for later potential image recognition scans and the purple finger thing to prevent multiple voting.

Those who oppose election integrity or tolerate political terrorism have no business in govt or politics at any level, and don’t even have a right to live in a democracy.

  2. The Voter ID laws will eventually be used to rob Americans, and everyone else in the world, of their right to vote. Anyone who refuses to accept REAL ID or some other global ID will not be able to log in to electronic voting. The only people who will be able to vote are those that agree to sell themselves to the global government as specified in the terms and conditions of the global ID card.

  3. This law was just passed this year. Please read the details and see where the flaws are, A person can mail in a ballot and submit a COPY of and ID card and the vote is valid…?!!

Beginning in 2020, when you present to vote, you will be asked to show photo ID.
If you do not show photo ID, you may vote provisionally. Your provisional ballot will count if you bring acceptable photo ID to your county board of elections office before canvass, or if you sign an affidavit declaring that a reasonable impediment prevented you from showing photo ID.
If you vote by mail, you must enclose a copy of your photo ID unless you sign an affidavit declaring that a reasonable impediment prevented you from enclosing a copy of your photo ID.
You can obtain a free photo ID at your county board of elections office at any time the office is open, except for the period from the end of one-stop early voting through Election Day.

In 2020 the days you cannot obtain an ID are:
Sunday, March 1 to Tuesday, March 3
Sunday, November 1 to Tuesday, November 3

  4. I would like to hear the argument about how voter id suppresses votes. I haven’t ever understand how in the world it could actually keep you from voting. Voter fraud seems much more important to our elections and how it could change an election than the possibility of suppressing votes.
