Forty-four percent (44%) of those responding to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com say they consume over three hours of news per day.

Fifteen percent (15%) consume less than an hour of news daily.

Two percent (2%) say they consume no news at all on a daily basis.

Average amount of news I consume daily:

15% Under 1 hour

35% 1-2 hours

44% 3 hours +

2% None

  1. Well, you do slug it as “unscientific” and indeed, it is unscientific. In fact, the results are useless.

    Did 10 people respond? Did 10 million? Sorta makes a different, no?

    So what political point are you attempting to make?

    Also, I doubt very, very much that the conclusions here are valid. Given how ignorant most Americans are about basic news events, it’s hard to believe that they consume that much news each day. Or where they turn. Reading whacko, extremist websites where the “publishers” are fringe figures is not “news.”

    C’mon, I know you’re trying to promote your brand but this is just bullshit.
