President Trump’s overall job approval rating is at 49%. It matches his all time high and is far above his average job approval rating throughout his more than three years in office: 40%. That’s according to Gallup.
Americans are about equally divided on whether they approve or disapprove of President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus situation.
Fifty-percent (50%) say they approve of Trump’s handling of the situation. Forty-eight percent (48%) say they disapprove.
Most of the variation in Trump’s job approval rating comes from independents. Currently, 47% of self-identified independents approve of the job Trump is doing as President.
