Black Lives Matter activist who stormed Capitol previously called for violent coup against Trump

John Sullivan

John Sullivan, a Black Lives Matter activist who was previously arrested as part of a Black Lives Matter riot, is reportedly under arrest related to this week’s Capitol rioting.

Sullivan, from Salt Lake City, Utah, acknowledges he stormed the Capitol and witnessed and recorded on video the shooting death of Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt at the hands of a Capitol Hill police employee.

Sullivan says he was there to document events and see them from the inside. He can reportedly be heard on video encouraging rioters to break into the Capitol and telling an officer “people might burn this down.”

The following video appears to show Sullivan at a Black Lives Matter rally several months ago making racist comments and threatening a violent coup against President Trump.

We f_ckin’ ’bout to burn this shit down…We gotta f_ckin’ rip Trump outta that office right there, f_ckin’ pull him out that shit! Naw naw we ain’t about f_ckin’ waitin’ ’til that next election, we ’bout to go get that mother f_cker [inaudible] f_ck that shit ’cause you know what time it is? Repeat after me: It’s time for revolution!

  1. I am incredibly happy to finally read, and or hear, something written about how we the other side feels. The injustice is insane. Thank you for more insight.

  2. This was expected. I believe the issue Really is weak politicians not investigating past accusations of voter fraud.
Bigotry is part of the Left power over the more moldable left wing citizens ans even Conservatives.
Your not what you eat . . You are what you choose to digest on the tv.

  3. I thought we abided by the constitution. I thought there were laws set up against corruption and fraud. I thought the people we elected to look after our rights! I thought we all were allowed “ including the President “, to speak their mind. Even if we disagree with each other’s views, we agree to disagree and find a compromise. I’m angry! I’m frustrated! And I’m sad! Angry because this election was stolen! We the American people were led like sheep to the slaughter. This did not happen overnight. This was years of corruption and deep seeded lies to everyone! I believe it’s time for a whole new party!! Both democrats and republicans have let the people who pay their salaries down to a level where trust has been severed! Shame on Americans for having our heads in the sand, skipping through life, “ tra-la-la-la” and not paying attention to the people we elected to serve us!! Shame on us for not using the vast technology that has been given us to research these characters and hold them accountable!! I’m terrified for what is going to happen in the next 4 years. God has a plan and right now He is absolutely the only one I fully trust!

    1. Hi Shannon: Agree, agree, agree. American complacency may have begun as a carry-over from the 1950s and WWII when everyone worked together, and we could count on that mentality. Americans have a bad habit of being too optimistic. Since it’s always a “Oh, it’ll work out; everything will be fine,’ problems aren’t recognized as such, so they’re not defined and addressed. Then things like 1970s’ inflation (mortgage rate 10%) has had most people scrambling to stay afloat. And, golly, the last 20-30 yrs,. life has become so friggin’ complicated and exhausting — no one can answer questions that don’t fit within the canned responses they’ve learned; if it’s too complicated or they aren’t willing to believe you know what you’re talking about, they’ll actually hang up on you — unheard of 40 yrs. ago — ’cause now the customer is always wrong and they actually believe they deserve and are entitled to more respect than the customer. Phone rings all day but can’t answer it ’cause someone might get access to whatever; I’m hounded all day long every day with “you’ve won first prize”; we’re ceasing operations and owe you $250; if you don’t call the police will be contacted; some issue so we’ll be charging your account $399. It’s a horrific way to live and spend the last ¼ of your life. And what’s more depressing than to have a gift or graduate with great knowledge and skills only to find out that the only way to make any real money is to be an “idiot” who goes “viral” doing something positively useless., so you spend what little money you have making some Kardashian obscenely wealthy as you admire and envy them from afar. “Gag me with a spoon” as was once said. And being a working mother? They never have time to think let alone learn and keep up wiith politics. And, honestly, now that I am, it’s a painful activity to be sure and ya can’t sleep ’cause you know you’re helpless.

And now we’re faced with the fact that something has gone terribly wrong with some? many? most? members of Gen X and Y. I’m beginning to think we older Boomers somehow failed at parenting in some respect (too laid back after the love-in of the 60s? — who knows) because what we’ve been seeing is being perpetrated, in almost every instance, by those born after 1964, who are helped and supported by people born between 1955 and 1965. It’s not everyone, of course, but because every industry is in the same camp — tech; entertainment; 90% of news media, both print and electronic; education (higher ed) and . . . whomever I missed — it probably doesn’t take more than a million or two to feed this monster ’cause they have most of the money and most of the power behind them.

It truly is a runaway train of superficial thinking, divisive black-white thinking that “cancels” lives and careers for benign mistakes or complete misunderstandings, out-of-control diversity to the extent that colleges and universities have multiple “diversity” organizations (I think it’s the U. of CA San Diego that has about 23 different organizations to address diversity, the heads of which are each paid over $100,000, plus the funds for staff (one reason tuition is higher than it needs to be) — see book by Heather McDonald (I think that’s her name), trigger warnings that turn a college education into milquetoast when the students actually need a backbone; big time censorship by big tech monopolies; and on and on.

For years, I’ve been worried about and writing about about the underdeveloped cognitive skills I’ve been encountering for too many years, one of the adverse consequences of an inadequate K-12 educ. system in place for 50+ yrs. That’s a lot of graduates that comprise an unknown combination of great skills and various degrees of inadequate cognitive, comprehension, listening, and writing/speaking skills. But, I never could have imagined that we would end up with millions being controlled and driven solely by hate. And thinking and behavior controlled and driven by hate can’t be trusted. Trump makes my skin crawl, so I’m one of those who’s been ignoring everything and, because my standards are high (not moi`, just my stds. ha), I couldn’t bring myself to vote for either one, but, BUT, I draw the line at human decency and basic respect. I just didn’t find out what’s been going on until Nov. 5. I’m disappointed in Republicans for not paying attention and letting events like the illegal change in states’ voting rules to get by them.

And all that leads to a huge dilemma: What do we do now ’cause we have to do something. This is far more serious than people realize. People driven by hate have compromised or abandoned their values and principles; there’s no boundary they won’t cross, and they can’t or refuse to see the truth ’cause “blinded by hate” really is a thing. And they no longer have a conscience. If Biden was duly elected, that’s 80 million people blinded by hate for a silly man with a boatload of flaws who can’t keep his mouth shut. Taking the high road is not a concept they understand nor is the notion of pursuing excellence in all we are and do. This is why I think that there was something missing in the parenting that’s been made worse by an inadequate education, stupid notions in K-6 about self-esteem (born of self-respect, not from receiving a trophy for showing up), use of technology, and content in movies and TV programming — factors that combined to create these unrecognizable human beings.

They don’t even see that, in responding to their hate, they’ve had to stoop to Trump’s level But, they’re even worse, because their actions are deliberate whereas Trump is a strange anomaly who got twisted inside out in childhood or something who has not only been brutally beaten up every single day but has felt he needed to respond. The abject cruely and disrespect is appalling. I’m surprised he’s survived it. Ya know, when ya treat someone as if they already are what they should or could be, they often rise to the occasion. We’ll never know how good and positive those four yrs. could have been . . . of all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these; it might have been. There’s so much to say about it all, but there is definitely something hinky about the election. Don’t know if it would change the outcome, but something isn’t right. Statistically, it doesn’t makes sense and those lawsuits? Read FTCP 12(6)(b). Either Trump’s lawyers border on illiterate or we’ve lost the judiciary, too.

The thing about God? He helps through people, but they have to be listening. If they’re not, what can He do? Man has free will. He can’t make people do what they’re unwilling to do. In terms of taking action, do you think enough people would stop using/paying for the social media they use to make a dent . . . as a protest against the censorship being exercised against us but not against China and Iran for worse speech? It would have to be many millions. I don’t have an IPhone and don’t use twitter and rarely check Facebook, but don’t some of these things cost money? If they’re not willing to sacrifice something to keep democracy alive (as a one-party country, we’ve lost it — no checks and balances; news media not object, not investigating, and directing people’s thinking like conductors; blatant censorship; no free speech with Republicans afraid to speak; and apparently our last hope, the judiciary, are making personal rather than legal decisions), they deserve what they get. They need to think about how Hitler gained control Well, I’ve gone on too long. Sorry for the length. I wonder . . . if you respond, will I know it? I’ve not been here before, and I don’t know how this works. There are no directions and no “contact us” feature. Take care.

    1. WOW you spelled it out correctly! I am very concerned for my president Donald j Trump and beautiful America! Home of the free because of the brave!

      1. Blondine,

Two evil books’ Marxist contents have
destroyed England and, now, are taking
        down America :

        “The Communist Manifesto,” by rarely-
        took-a-bath, took-any-handout, sex-/
        lust-starved, devil-worshipping Karl
        Marx.

        and

        “Summerhill,” by Marxian social-utopian
        /-engineer and sex-addict (kids?) Eric Fromm :

Summerhill School – Democratic schooling in England
        http://www.summerhillschool.co.uk
Summerhill is the oldest children’s democracy in the world. It is probably the most famous alternative or ‘free’ school. The system that Summerhill employs is not only about education – it is also a different way of parenting which eliminates most of the friction and many of the problems experienced by modern families.

        Both books are COMMUNIST
        Manifestos—and tributes to
        nonsensical adoration of non-
        authoritarianism—no rules / no
        family / no father-knows-best /
        no social order, except how
        one’s carnal appetites are used
        and arranged.

        Here’s a most-telling/most-evil
        sentence by Fromm (( bottom
        sentence, on page 65 )) :

“Among old Summerhillians, the only ones who can easily and enthusiastically cheer in a crowd . . . came from the homes . . . with Communist leanings.”

        —Tortured victims of Bolshevik
        Russia ?

        This scribbler has penned many
        essays about our (mis)educating
public schools. It begins in kinder-
        garten, teaching FORCED-sharing
(( Communism )), rather than per-
        sonal property rights and PRIVACY
—allowing children to grow into a
        NATURAL sharing/giving spirit,
        absent any FAKE, GUILTY sharing
        —or that “giving”-through GUILT
“charity” we adults feel (( girls are
        harmed by teachers and parents’
        FORCED-sharing demands, holding
        an engrained, subconscious GUILT
        in not “G I V I N I G” whenever a boy
demands sexual play and a “home
        run” )).

        -Rick

        1. Hi Rick: Admittedly, it’s been decades since I read “Summerhill.” Nonetheless, though I’m not doubting you, I don’t remember any notion of communism, so I’m shocked to learn that it is. That was once respected and taught, sort of, as an alternative way to teach. Isn’t it a totally unstructured method? It was tried here on a very small scale but not necessarily as a carbon copy.

Could you please clarify by distinguishing the notion of “private-that’s-mine property from sharing as an act of kindness? Does it fit in with the it-takes-a-village (not literally in 21st century living) concept? I ask because younger Americans have taken the notion of “diversity” too far in that it’s become that which contributes significantly to dividing us.

They push that “agenda,” if you will, by claiming “diversity is our greatest strength.” But, which is stronger: A long, solid piece of rope or a long piece with a notch every few inches to represent each “diverse” group? Just like the rope, we are stronger unified ias one America comprised only of Americans. That’s how we eliminate prejudice, racism and discrimination.

Dividing us up into smaller and smaller groups — will we have one soon for those prone to paper cuts in the office so they can what? Be protected from having to handle paper? — keeps us focused on how we differ rather than on the humanity that connects us. College administrators caving to students’ demands for trigger warnings is a crime and a derogation of their duty to educate by turning content into milquetoast when they actually need to teach them how to grow up with a backbone instead of all these sensitivities. Life is tough. We all have to suck it up occasionally, sometimes around every corner. I attended law school while suffering from one of the worst cases of severe, non-military PTSD imaginable, but it never would have occurred to me to ask for a censoring of certain language by my professors. A ridiculous notion.

          Thanks for the anticipated clarification.

  5. This is for Parler staff. Please add an “edit” feature. Some typos might not be a big deal, but sometimes they really are. Personally, I need to correct mine, so nothing is misunderstood. Also, how does one find out how to use the site?

  6. I’m still hopeful after the Capital issue on the 6th. I’m tired of being on the wrong side of what I consider the right side.

  7. I saw a zoom interview of this guy on KATU Portland Thursday 1/7 morning. He describing what happened in the capital and being next to the women that got shot. Under his video the news station added Black Lives Activist. I couldn’t believe they thought he should be in the middle of all this and put it on the air. Later I was trying to find this interview online to compare his face to the WA arrest search but KATU and searches had deleted it. I had a feeling there wasn’t just Trump supports in the Capital that day. Please keep reporting the truth. I’m so tired of them orchestrating hate and divide in this country.

  8. Thank you Sharyl for your courageous efforts to report “real” news. I pray for your safety as you expose inconvenient truths without bias.

  9. THIS WAS A DNC SET UP FROM THE START. THAT IS WHY SO FEW COPS THERE / KNOWING HOW MANY WOULD BE COMING .THE RAT PACK USED THIS JEST LIKE THEY DID THE VIRUS. THE DNC PARTY HAS NO BOTTOM. THERE IS NOTHING THEY WONT DO TO GET POWER . AND WITH ALL OF THAT POWERS THEY DESTORY AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT . THINK NOT OVER THE NEXT 4 YEARS I WILL SAY ON HERE MANY TIMES ( I TOLD YOU SO )

  10. The enemies of patriotism who control the news and comment media have an allyship with agents-provocateurs who make patriot protests and patriotic blogsites look crazy or criminal. They have considerable experience and need opponents equally well-informed and astute.
