READ: FBI charges an alleged Capitol rioter in preplanned attack not motivated by Trump speech

Court documents filed today describe an alleged Capitol rioter who used social media to document her trip and storm the Capitol in Washington D.C. last week.

According to the FBI, realtor Jenna Ryan used Facebook and YouTube (but not Parler) to publicize her journey. She also allegedly posed in front of a broken window at the Capitol.

Ryan’s social media communications indicate the storming of the Capitol was not a spontaneous act motivated by President Trump’s speech, as Trump’s opponents have insisted. Instead, the storming was allegedly preplanned.

On January 6, 2021, RYAN posted a video on her Facebook account that depicts her in a bathroom mirror stating, “We’re gonna go down and storm the capitol. They’re down there right now and that’s why we came and so that’s what we are going to do. So wish me luck.”

RYAN posted photographs of herself at the U.S. Capitol building grounds to her social media accounts, including Facebook and Twitter. Of particular note is an image RYAN posted of herself to her Twitter account, which depicts RYAN in front of a broken window at the U.S. Capitol building, with the caption “Window at The capital [sic]. And if the news doesn’t stop lying about us we’re going to come after their studios next…”

  1. Who is the woman in the pic, who took the pic, and who is the “us” that she claims the media is lying about?

    1. According to the FBI report (see the link): FBI identifies her as Jennifer Leigh RYAN, a realtor. The “us” is obviously the crowd she’s hanging with. I guess the FBI will have to investigate all the identities involved in that hoard.

  2. Sorry, but I read that FBI affidavit and I don’t get that impression at all. The woman is a Trump supporter who was let into the building by police. The FBI is glossing over that fact and making an argument that she should not have gone into the building, in spite of being invited in by police, because there was broken glass and the alarm was going off. In no way do I see this woman as part of AntiFa.

    1. Her point was that she intended to do what she did in advance, not as a result of a speech Donald Trump made. That speech is considered by his enemies as evidence of “incitement” to an alleged act of insurrection.

Whether she is a supporter of Donald Trump or not is irrelevant: he can’t be held responsible for what goes on in her head and he doesn’t move her limbs around at will. She herself planned what she did long before the speech and Atkisson’s post provides the proof of that.

  3. i agree with your statment Anna, from what i can tell it was a trap for many and they hoped a lot more would have been caught but were not thank goodness people listened to their own way of thinking instead of being led by the piper for the destruction of the lemmings
