REPORT: Ex-gymnastics coach commits suicide after charges of human trafficking

Former U.S. women’s gymnastics coach John Geddert is reported to have taken his own life after being charged with two dozen crimes, including human trafficking and sexual assault.

Geddert coached the gold medal-winning 2012 U.S. women’s gymnastics team.

He reportedly had ties to sports doctor Larry Nassar, who is serving a life sentence for sexually assaulting some of the country’s top gymnasts under the guise of medical treatment.

Geddert’s name came up during Nassar’s court hearings in 2018.

Police say Geddert’s body was found at a rest area today just hours after he was scheduled to turn himself in on the Michigan charges.

  1. Organized sports is a big business and apparently turns some people across the morals barriers which causes team doctors and coaches to break the law in the most horrible ways imaginable. I teach my children to beware of people abusing their positions of authority!

  2. In a case the sensitive I would think that you would be more careful in posting more appropriate photos. In this turbulent time, we all need to be mindful of the subliminal messages we put out there.

  3. Evil seems to be flourishing everywhere. The innocent are being preyed upon or corrupted by people who are in once thought trustworthy professions too often. Our state and local law enforcement is being defunded and our federal level enforcement is caught up in political bias investigations…instead of using more resources to combat this travesty! And we the people too often hear nothing of this unless an independent journalist like Ms. Attkisson discovers it. Its a sad time in America.

  4. Blame MARXIAN libertines’ “sex-is-for-fun“
Sexual Revolution of the 1960s—and there-
    after

I’ve an essay to explain all of it, but you
folks are part of that Brain-Blinded
generation, so I’m am hesitant to post it
    here.

  5. I think human trafficking and sexual assault is the foundation on which our elite and political system lays. Kudos to Trump for wanting to expose this to the world. Its no wonder they bounced him out of the White House at the cost of the Republic, and the future of the country.
