IRS: Masks and other Personal Protective Equipment are tax deductible

The Internal Revenue Service recently announced that the purchase of masks, hand sanitizers, and other personal protective equipment used to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are deductible medical expenses.

Good news, if you saved your grocery and drug store receipts from 2020. For the rest of us, there’s always next year!

  1. Good looking out. Sometimes late, but with a focus on accuracy, I love knowing there’s a reporter/journalist in the ‘normal’ media doing their job.

    This article isn’t late or “catching me up on the accuracy” btw, it’s my first time I’m first hearing about it.
