He was much like Rush. He went after the energy companies in Oregon that were refusing access to utility poles, paid for by taxpayers, that telephone and cable companies wanted to use for their own lines. Without access to these poles, the phone and cable companies would have to install many, many more poles all over the cities and the entire state. It is a crazy story, just like this big tech garbage now. But back then, common sense won. Now, I think that we have bought and paid for our expensive phones and pay monthly for pure censorship.
