POLL: Growing concerns about energy

Americans’ concerns about the U.S. energy situation have dramatically heightened over the past year. That’s according to Gallup.

More than 7 out of 10 people say they worry about the availability and affordability of energy in the United States, according to the poll.

That’s up from just over one-half of the people who said they were worried about our country’s energy supply last year. Last year, about 54% said they had concerns about our energy supply, representing a record low level of concern for this question, says Gallup.

A majority say they believe that the U.S. will face a critical energy shortage within the next five years.

The increased concern goes hand-in-hand with increasing gas prices, according to Gallup.

Record high levels of concern about U.S. energy (82%-83%) were recorded by Gallup in 2006 and 2008, when gas prices were sharply rising.

  1. Americans have every reason to be concerned because something is going to change and we will not like it.
One of Biden’s first actions to reduce or stop the drilling of oil. This increased gasoline prices at least 40 cents a gallon in 5 or 6 weeks.
I am not sure what Biden;’s plans are for the auto industry but he said that Americans are too dependent of automobiles.

Biden has bragged about how they are going to remove firearms from the American people.
“The Power to Tax Is the Power to Destroy”.
Increase the taxes on the items they wish to remove from the public. Add taxes to gasoline, to the point most people cannot afford it. While this normally would create the supply, but keep in mind, the EPA is busy reducing the production of oil.
Add hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in taxes to gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. The US has not built a gasoline refinery since 1979 ( I think). We have built diesel refineries, but I am not sure if the EPA has cleared them to begin production.

America never needed to import to oil from the Middle East or anywhere else to meet our petroleum needs. It was done to cripple our economy.
