Why will the USA not swallow their “False” Pride and go and learn from Israel, or better yet get the systems they need to defend their country, from Israel ???
You know this is an incredibly difficult task. It has never been successful. Israel’s Iron Dome has a much smaller requirement than the missile defense project you are discussing. Oh, and BTW, the Iron Dome is not dealing with nukes or the speeds that the missile defense system has to contend with. This money was spent over 2 decades. Boeing also had to build infrastructure as you indicate, This is not to say that there are not questionable politics involved in the relationship between defense contractors and the DOD. I am disappointed in this is a rather biased article. The language used was definitely editorial in nature, I expected better.
‘carbon fibre’ – do you mean graphene? it’s used to reinforce concrete, in car coating and in the surgical masks we’re required to wear. you can’t make this stuff up.
