POLL: Most don’t want NBA, corporations to take political stands against U.S. states


A full 97% say they think the NBA and other businesses should not use their political cloud to exert pressure on U.S. states.

That’s according to the latest unscientific poll of more than 1,560 people at SharylAttkisson.com.

The vast majority said “they should stay out of it” when asked “Do you agree with NBA and other businesses using their clout to exert political pressure on states.

  1. It’s their Right to go political but it’s also my Right to NOT watch or buy their products.
    The shareholders need to get involved, just my opinion

  2. I thought that corporations have the same First Amendment rights as individuals according the Supreme Court ruling. It does not matter that real persons agree or disagree with the corporations’ views. Yes it could be bad for business though.

  3. I’ll take sports players’ and others’ nonviolent displays of protest over a deadly revolution any day.
