(READ) Two more states ban “vaccine passports”

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds and Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, both Republicans, have signed new laws prohibiting COVID-19 vaccine passports.

They join at least eleven other states with similar bans.

The Iowa and Alabama laws prohibit state agencies from issuing identifications that show personal vaccine records.

Alabama’s version refers to immunizations and vaccines, in general.

The Iowa version specifically mentions Covid-19-related passports.
