I regret that my [CDC] coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the Journal of Pediatrics.
My primary job duties while working in the immunization safety branch from 2000 to 2006 were to lead or colead three major vaccine safety studies. The MADDSP MMR-Autism Cases
Control Study was being carried out in response to the Wakefield Lancet study that suggested an association between the MMR vaccine and an autism-like health outcome.
There were several major concerns among scientists and consumer advocates outside the CDC in the fall of 2000 regarding the execution of the Verstraeten study.
One of the important goals that was determined upfront in the spring of 2001 before any of these studies started was to have all three protocols vetted outside the CDC prior to the start of the analyses so that consumer advocates could not claim that we were presenting analyses that suited our own goals and biases.
We hypothesized that if we found statistically significant effects at either 18- or 36-month thresholds, we would conclude that vaccinating children early with MMR vaccine could lead to autism-like characteristics or features.
We all met and finalized the study protocol and analysis plan. The goal was to not deviate from the analysis plan to avoid the debacle that occurred with the Verstraeten Thimerosal study published in Pediatrics in 2003.
At the September 5 meeting, we discussed in detail how to code race for both the sample and the birth certificate sample. At the bottom of table 7, it also shows that for the
nonbirth certificate sample, the adjusted race effect statistical significance was huge.
All the authors and I met and decided sometime between August and September 2002 not to report any race effects for the paper. Sometime soon after the meeting, where we decided to exclude reporting any race effects, the coauthors scheduled a meeting to destroy documents related to the study.
The remaining four coauthors all met and brought a big garbage can into the meeting room and reviewed and went through all the hard copy documents that we had thought we should discard and put them in a huge garbage can.
However, because I assumed it was illegal and would violate both FOIA and DOJ requests, I kept hard copies of all documents in my office, and I retained all associated computer files.
I believe we intentionally withheld controversial findings from the final draft of the Pediatrics paper.

- Congress, to which the pharmaceutical industry is a top donor, declined to hold hearings.

This is criminal, and all of these ‘scientists’ should go to jail, as well as their higher-ups at the CDC.
Can we get it over and defund the CDC, NIH and whatever Fauci runs? Science is of no value if all you do is lie.
And now millions have gotten this jab because the CDC said it was okay while that same CDC said drugs like HCQ and ivermectin that have been used for decades are not safe!
Those two drugs would have stopped this pandemic! Pray for those who got the jab because it has nothing to do with your health!

This is criminal against humanity and has to be prosecuted! Individuals who were vaccinated and are now autistic should all be compensated for damages by those who covered up this travesty including big Pharma, the CDC, the FDA and culpable individuals!
Thank you for bringing this to light . I know the MMR vaccine causes autism because I watched it happen to my grandson. He was a normally developing child who loved being read to and playing games and had a good vocabulary at 18 months of age. He had his MMR vaccine, was ill after (strong flu-like symptoms) and within three weeks had lost his ability to use words and was a different child – did not respond to his name, was not interested in being read to, acted like he couldn’t hear or understand anything, would not interact with anyone, and started having screaming meltdowns., etc. etc. etc. there must be many other families who know that this is a fact. Please don’t let up on this. Please find other journalist who will help you bring light to this. And frankly if there’s anyway that I can help sue the CDC in a class action suit on behalf of all families who have seen this happen to their children I am all in.

The very same thing happened to my son. 18 months old, and 1 days after his MMR, he broke out with measles. At that time his rate of developmental progression slowed. He is almost 30 and I will be his guardian forever.
My husband was military and I tried to report for Vaers, but I was told that this was a “normal reaction” to the shot….

Yes, it is disgusting. And there are myriad Caucasian children and their families suffering horribly with autism and other maladies resulting after vaccination. The CDC has known for a long time that they are hurting all children. Now there are thousands of people damaged and dead, thanks to the COVID shots, but you won’t see that in news media. Less than 2% are ever reported or listed in the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). They know the truth, so it has to be on purpose!

Thank you for continuing to post up-t0-date information on autism and vaccines [MMR]. When asked if I, having 2 of 4 children with autism, would recommend or not recommend vaccines for babies, I share that I do not; however, since it is so many children and so random, I wonder if some through genetics are pre-disposed to the possibility of autism [perhaps higher incidence in parent with some other neurological oddity]. My question now is why are they vaccinating infants at all? Why not wait until their bodies are stronger neurologically? Why not start vaccinations at 24 months old, or 36 months old?

You bring up an excellent point. When I was very young, I was given all my infant vaccinations at the proper time. I was diagnosed with autism at age 3. However, when I was a teenager, my mother waited a few years to get me the vaccinations that are supposed to be given at those times. Such a waiting period might have stinted my autism from there, because in many ways I have developed quite well from my teenage years on. So my mother and I have both suspected that it might not be the vaccines per se that create these problems, but it might be the timing at which they are given to people.

I agree its the timing. All that has to happen is for our “authorities” and “geniuses” to move the MMR vaccine to be given at age 5 instead of age 18 months – run that for a period of 10 years and collect the data, then it can be proven or dis-proven if its a developmental issue with the immune system.. Anybody can see that. Instead any theories are dismissed.

Mariann, we do not even know what are in these so called vaccines. And to think they would hide this from parents so flippantly. They all belong at the end of a rope, and our children should not be subjected to any of this. I know of several young children that upon receiving these shots that have been permanently damaged, actually more than a few, quite a lot the more I think of it, going all the way back to the 2000 era up to today. This is beyond criminal.

The book, the vaccine friendly plan. Does just that . The pediatrician, dr. Paul Thomas, did a study within his practice and found that when parents were willing to delay the vaccines they had no autism in that group. The CDC and Oregon Board of medical licensure has are very unhappy with him. That’s what I would do with my children wait until they are neurologically more developed and stable
Why consider poisoning children at all. I have never in my 76 years had a vaccine or any pharmaceutical and am still a robust athlete. The same is true for my 38 year old son. Healthful vegan diet helps too.

The MMR is not provided separately as are others that the manufacturers combined and apparently none that have been combined have been properly tested together.
