Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) and several of his Republican colleagues are asking FBI Director Christopher Wray for information on FBI operatives and their connection to the January 6 Capitol riots.
That after reports that FBI operatives were possibly involved in organizing and participating in the seige.
In a letter, the members of Congress are asking for information on the FBI’s infiltration of militia groups known as Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, and the Three Percenters. They’re also asking how many informants and undercover agents were on site, and what role they played on January 6.

As the events of January 6, 2021, come to clearer relief many questions remain unanswered. On June 8, 2021, the Senate Homeland Security Committee and the Senate Rules Committee jointly produced a 95-page report finding problems ranging from “federal intelligence agencies failing to warn of a potential for violence, to a lack of planning and preparation by U.S. Capitol Police and law enforcement leadership.”
I am seeking your answers to clarify the following questions:
1. In the year leading up to the events on 1/6 and during 1/6 itself, to what extent were the three primary militia groups (the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, and the Three Percenters) infiltrated by agencies of the federal government (including the FBI), or informants of said agencies?
2. Exactly how many federal undercover agents or confidential informants were present at the Capitol or in the Capitol during the “siege” and what roles did they play (merely passive informants or active instigators)?
3. Of all the unindicted co-conspirators referenced in the charging documents of those indicted for crimes on 1/6, how many worked as a confidential informant or as an undercover operative for the federal government (FBI, Army Counterintelligence, etc.)?
I expect an answer from your office by August 1, 2021. Thank you.
If you had followed the comments before January 6th you knew there were bad actors trying to create problems for Trump and Americans. If you watched live reporting and videos, you knew this was a Red Flag. Immediately you knew no real cop would shoot into a crowd with other uniformed police present. Immediately after a Capital officer left his gun in the men’s room for an excuse. You know the officer is a minority because of cover up. Minimum that officer should be suspended. That he wasn’t tells you this was a planned dirty deed and officer is connected to a Democrat. So know the FBI has it’s hands all over this. Deep State is playing citizens

Jan 6 was planned by Pelosi, Schumer and McConnell with the help of the DC mayor. These people in District of Corruption always need a study or a commission to study an event. It’s obvious to anyone really paying attention what they do how they do it and it is corrupt. After this last election, much more corrupt than I could ever have imagined in my wildest nightmares. They can keep their studies and commissions and place them where the sun doesn’t shine. Nothing ever gets accomplished (only if you are a Republican). Democrats literally get away with murder. All good questions, especially since the leader of the Proud Boys was reportedly an informant. But what are the other representatives asking? Gaetz opinion on this matter is tainted by his being investigated by the FBI so, he has a bone to pick and a reason to distract us from his problems.
Or his problems are created to distract from his questions.
Even if the truth was unearthed, do you really think the media will report it, that the DOJ would prosecute? We citizens are all pawns in the power game. The overt actions of our ‘lawmakers’ result in a reduction in the quality of life of Americans of all ethnicities, income groups, geographic areas. And the solutions they offer for the problems they create always add more overreach and federal intrusion into our lives and our liberty.
