Which states are most- and least-vaccinated for Covid-19?

H/T to Katie Adams of Becker’s Hospital Review

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), about 41% of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated. According to the Pentagon about 14.5% of the U.S. Army is fully vaccinated.

All of the most-vaccinated states voted for Biden in 2020. All of the least-vaccinated states voted for Trump.

According to CDC data, the six most vaccinated states (with each above 50% of the population vaccinated) are: Vermont (57.8%); Maine (55.8%); Massachusetts (54.9%); Connecticut (54.1%); Rhode Island (52.7%) and New Hampshire (50.3%).

The least vaccinated states (with each below 1/3 of the population vaccinated) are: Tennessee (32.2%); Wyoming (32.1%); Louisiana (31.7%); Arkansas (31.2%); Alabama (29.3%) and Mississippi (27.4%).

  1. Interesting. I would love to see total vaccinated East of California, Oregon, and Washington , and West of the Mississippi, as well as states South of the Mason-Dixon Line.

    1. I live in the east CA area and though I hear we are not big on vaccines I am the only house in my neighborhood not done yet. I can’t face the thought of what may be coming for my neighbors. It breaks my heart. They are my family. and I am scared for them all.
