The media have become the “enemy of the people” says the majority of likely voters recently polled by Rasmussen Reports.
Fifty-eight percent (58%) of voters at least somewhat agree that the media are “truly the enemy of the people”. Over a third of the respondents said they strongly agree that the media is the enemy of the people, according to Rasmussen Reports.
Thirty-six percent (36%) of those polled do not agree that media are the enemy of the people. That includes 23% who strongly disagree.

Freedom of the press was granted to keep check on the government so when the media is controlled by and becomes a mouth piece for the government then they truly are by definition “the enemy of the people”
