Follow the money. Who did the US buy the planes from? What US politician holds an interest in that Company? Who owns the stock of said company? Is it actually a company that does something, or just a shell? Who owns the shell? That’s where the story leads. Anyone out there got the guts and b*lls to follow that?
In addition, we no loner have a fair judicial system. The “elites” can get away with almost anything and us “great unwashed” are screwed. Example: the people who attended the Trump rally on 1/6th, many of whom are in solitary confinement for merely “trespassing.” Sickening!
It’s only the beginning! We have a massive and bloated government where these kind of things happen all too often. Be very wary of spending $3.5T additional tax dollars … for whom and on what! Our Congress is spending us down the river of oblivion if they get this one bill, let alone whatever else they will plan in the future. Term limits are required!!
That’s an average day for the US government. I remember periods starting in August when we were simply told to order everything we could order and receive by the end of the fiscal year. Those items would then get packed away in a storage room and many would never get placed in service. There were hundreds of thousands of dollars in IT equipment in the room. It was often unnecessary. But the budget had to be spent to justify an increased budget for next year. It’s been going on for decades.
So typical of our gov’t and supposed law enforcement. Five years, and then some, later and still nothing’s done about this crap. This should’ve been the easiest investigation ever. There’s way too many Biden’s and Kerry’s kids and retired generals and admirals in this world that never have to answer for sucking on the taxpayer teat. Too few people in government give a crap, just looking for their bonanza.
We need an audit of the Federal Government and heads need to start to roll. I hate to say this but many in the Military go along with this and then they leave and become contractors and continue scamming the US Tax Payers. We need a revamp of the Military and the Pentagon. It is a Gravy Train for many.
Overall the real problems is we do not hold them Fiscally responsible. I believe all expenditures by the Government should be online and visible to US Taxpayers. Legal Citizens ONLY.

Corrupt businesses (exception: Securities institutions) the ultimately go out of business.
Our government is out of control. There are no checks and balances.
The GAO used to be a non-political, but no more.
The Senators from my red state are useless.
Term limits and limited federal powers are would be a positive first start.

Sharyl, I often use the Speech function in my browser then sit back and listen to your article. This one made me mad, not at you but for the waste.
