The Chairman and CEO of Pfizer, maker of one of the Covid-19 vaccines used in the U.S., says it will likely take more than just vaccines to defeat Covid-19.
Albert Bourla is touting a new experimental anti-viral drug under study that could be just the thing.
The drug is now known as PF-07321332, an investigational SARS-CoV2-3CL protease inhibitor.
Studies in people are just beginning. But, if successful, the medicine would be meant for non-hospitalized adults with Covid-19 who are at low risk of progressing to serious illness.
In other words, the drug would be given to adults to treat symptoms that are not serious nor expected to progress to critical levels.
Pfizer says it is also studying how the drug would impact those who are at risk of progressing to serious disease.

First Participant Dosed in Phase 2/3 Study of Oral Antiviral Candidate in Non-Hospitalized Adults with COVID-19 Who Are at Low Risk of Severe Illness
New York, N.Y., September 1, 2021 – Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) today shared that the first participant has been dosed in a pivotal Phase 2/3 clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of PF-07321332 – an investigational orally administered protease inhibitor antiviral therapy designed specifically to combat COVID-19 – in non-hospitalized, symptomatic adult participants who have a confirmed diagnosis of SARS- CoV-2 infection and are not at increased risk of progressing to severe illness, which may lead to hospitalization or death.
The randomized, double-blind trial will enroll approximately 1,140 participants, who will receive PF- 07321332/ritonavir or placebo orally every 12 hours for five days.
Protease inhibitors, like PF-07321332, are designed to block the activity of the main protease enzyme that the coronavirus needs to replicate. Co-administration with a low dose of ritonavir is expected to help slow the metabolism, or breakdown, of PF-07321332 in order for it to remain in the body for longer periods of time at higher concentrations, thereby working continuously to help combat the virus. Ritonavir has previously been used in combination with other antivirals to similarly inhibit metabolism.
This study is part of a global clinical development program, consisting of multiple ongoing and planned clinical trials to evaluate this early-intervention, outpatient therapeutic candidate for potential use in a broad population of patients. The first registrational trial in this program, a pivotal Phase 2/3 study of PF- 07321332/ritonavir in non-hospitalized, symptomatic adult participants who have been diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection and are at increased risk of progressing to severe illness, began enrollment in July 2021.
If successful, PF-07321332/ritonavir has the potential to address a significant unmet medical need, providing patients with a novel oral therapy that could be prescribed at the first sign of infection, without requiring hospitalization.

Ivermectin is also a protease inhibitor.. I feel certain Ivermectin is much cheaper.

I believe that Pfizer’s “protease inhibitor” is exactly ivermectin. I read another article about it.

There is a typo, or something, over the word “not.”
In one place the article says the new drug is for those who, “non-hospitalized, symptomatic adult participants who have a confirmed diagnosis of SARS- CoV-2 infection and are NOT at increased risk of progressing to severe illness, which may lead to hospitalization or death.”
In another place it says, “non-hospitalized, symptomatic adult participants who have been diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection and ARE at increased risk of progressing to severe illness.”
At any rate Pfizer has found a way to make money from the 99.87% of those diagnosed with Covid19 who would recover naturally, but Pfizer wants them to take a pill and then take credit for what their immune systems would have done anyway.
Babylon Bee had another name: Pfivermectin!!! At 100x the cost of Ivermectin, of course!

So, ivermectin has a new name now?
It was just learned today that the contract that Pfizer has with different governments of the world says that no other remedy will be allowed, even if one actually cures COVID! This is the reason ivermectin will not be spoken about unless you are called a “quack” for saying that it works. The drug companies have a stranglehold on our country as well as other countries. Also, there is no legal remedy being allowed if you have detrimental effects from the shots. This is the first time, in my lifetime, that other forms of drugs were not allowed to be spoken about.
It is disgusting! We need brave Dictirs to stand up against this medical tyranny and do the right thing by prescribing Ivermectin and HCQ and whatever else that works.

Absolutely ridiculous! Why would a person who is low risk for a virus need a shot of anything? These people count on the masses not thinking for themselves.
Maybe we are in WWIII and it is simply psychological warfare. Keep them scared so we can manipulate them to death and get wealthy of their stupidity.
