Is pot really legal? Congress Cries Wolf on Big Tech; The Return of the Wolf

Recreational marijuana is legal in most states.

Or, is it?

Federal law still says weed is an illegal drug, even as many states openly sell it in stores.

And yet the IRS is happy to collect big taxes from businesses selling pot!

Sunday on Full Measure, I’ll investigate the confusing and contradictory dynamic, and how it’s impacting the push for a national law legalizing marijuana.

Also, both parties in Congress talk about the need to do “something” about abuses by Big Tech.

There have been dozens of Congressional hearings in Washington D.C. where Big Tech executives are called on the carpet.

And then… nothing.

We’ll talk with Congressman Ken Buck about why Congress seems to speak loudly but carry a small stick.

Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colorado)

And there’s a controversial move in several states to bring back the wolf.

I’ll report on both sides in the debate from Colorado where voters recently approved a measure to return wolves to the state.

Ranchers worry their livestock will be the prey.

We never waste your time rehashing the same news you’ve heard all week. Find out where and when to watch on TV or online by clicking this link: How to Watch Full Measure

    1. You have absolutely no clue about that which you opine Mulboy.
Marijuana has medicinal uses as well. Signed, The Dr. In the House, J.C.

  1. I have no problem with adults smoking weed at home relaxing. The feds again over step by deciding what free Americans can and can`t do. I don`t use the stuff myself. But, that is my choice.

  2. IT IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN ABOUT THE MONEY WHEN IT COMES TO POT. I AM 71 YR OLD. SO I DO SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENED AND WHY. FIRST POT HAS NEVER KILLED ANY ONE. BUT HAS HELPED MILLIONS WITH ALL KINDS OF MEDICAL PROBLUMS. AND THAT IS WHERE THE MONEY COMES IN. IF YOU USE POT THE BIG DRUG INDUSTRIES ARE LOOSING MONEY. (IF YOU SMOKE A JOINT YOUR NOT SOMKING A CIGERAT .BIG TOBBACO LOOSES MONEY. AND YOUR GETTING HI ON A JOING. THEN YOUE YOUR NOT DRINKING ALCHAOL, THAT IS THE HEART OF IT ALL. AND IT IS THESE INDUSTRIES THAT HAVE AND STILL FIGHTING TO KEEP POT ILLEGAL. .) FOR THE SUFFERING AND DEATH THAT THEY HAVE CAUSED WITH THERE ACTIONS THEY SHOULD BE PUT ON TRAIL. BUT THAT WONT HAPPEN. BECAUSE OF THE BILLIONS IN TAXES THAT THEY PAY THE U.S. GOV EVERY YEAR . THEY GET A FOR EVER GET OUT OF JAIL CARD. EVEN WHEN THERE PRODECTS ARE KILLING MILLIONS AROUND THE WORLD EVERY YEAR. NOW THERE FACE ARE TURE. AND IT GOES ON . THAT SHOULD TELL YOU HOLD THEY HAVE ON THE AMERICAN GOV. AND THAT SHOULD MAKE YOU ALL ANGERY AS HELL . BUT DOES IT ???

Sharyl, save your time. When it comes to doing something to ‘reign in’ big tech, the answer is simple like all things in DC – power and money. Tech has the money, they use it to pay congress to buy power. Of course congress has to look like it cares, so it pounds table, raises voices, all for show. They just want to squeeze tech moguls for mo money, mo money, mo money!
    If Buck says anything less?
Sharyl you may be one of the few I trust to get answers. The question then is? Will anything get done….

  4. The only medical problem I see is chronic pot smokers receive tar the equivalent to a pack of smokes. Suggestion, eat pot filled cookies.
