At least 10 hospital systems temporarily suspend Covid vaccine mandate

After federal judges temporarily blocked the government from forcing vaccine mandates among health care workers across the U.S., pending court litigation, several hospital systems have already put them to a halt– at least for the moment.

Becker’s Hospital Review lists those companies as: Prisma Health based in Greenville, South Carolina; Intermountain Healthcare, based in Salt Lake City; HCA Healthcare, based in Nashville, Tennessee; St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston Idaho; and Ballad Health, based in Johnson City, Tennessee; Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare; University Hospitals, based in Cleveland; Cleveland Clinic; Bayhealth, based in Dover, Delaware; Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware.

  1. I wonder how many of these employers are fearing legal and workplace repercussions from requiring injurious vaccines. A work place can be held accountable for unsafe policies and equipment, and while government grants legal protection from vaccine law suits to big pharma, I don’t know of any such exemption for employers. And, lest anyone imagine otherwise, the vaccine adverse events are adding up, and we’re not even getting into the long term. Any large employer will almost certainly generate a number of vaccine injuries, and now they don’t even have the cover of a usurper Biden administration mandate. I’m thinking this may be a cash cow for a whole new class of lawyers, and hopefully the workers who get hurt can get a big payday as well.

    1. Seems to me that someone who convinces someone else NOT to get a vaccine (based on false claims of side effects) is at much greater risk of legal exposure since the risks associated with getting the virus when unvaccinated are exponentially higher than the risks associated with getting vaccinated.
