Attkisson vs. Govt. for Computer Intrusions: Thank you for legal fund donations

The following is a news analysis.

Thousands of you have supported the lawsuit to hold the government accountable for the computer intrusions on Sharyl Attkisson when she was an investigative reporter at CBS News.

This past week, the judge in the case made a ruling allowing the litigation to move forward to discovery.

As with past iterations of the case, the Dept. of Justice is expected to fight discovery rather than provide for justice. The agency is defending the guilty agents rather than holding them accountable. In fact, the Justice Dept. recently authorized a private law firm at taxpayer expense to defend one of the defendants, an ex-Secret Service agent who is a convicted felon in a separate corruption case.

Government corruption must be exposed.

The federal government is the biggest violator of 4th Amendment rights. I do not believe that it is too much too ask for some sunshine blazing on these cockroaches for all to see.
