(READ) A pandemic of the 'vaccinated'

Dated: December 25, 2021 by Sharyl Attkisson 6 Comments

The following is an excerpt from The Atlantic.

Back in July, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky announced that COVID had become “a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” an unfortunate turn of phrase that was soon picked up by the president. Now the flaws in its logic are about to be exposed on what could be a terrifying scale.

The 60 percent of Americans who are fully vaccinated could soon find their lives looking very different. For much of the summer and fall, those who had received two Pfizer or Moderna doses or one Johnson & Johnson shot were told that they were essentially bulletproof, especially if they were young and healthy.

Settings that might have previously seemed safe for vaccinated folks—say, a restaurant or performance venue that strictly checks vaccination status—could become fertile ground for transmission, because the people inside them are more likely to catch and spread the virus.

Indeed, anecdotal reports already suggest that large indoor gatherings of fully vaccinated people can become super-spreader events in the age of Omicron.

Good article but I would leave the "(READ)" off the title. When sharing articles on mobile devices the amount of characters displayed for the title is quite limited. Leaving that off would allow 6 more characters to display. Although for videos it makes sense to include the "(WATCH)" preface.

Proponents of the vaccines will counter that although the vaccines don't prevent infection, they usually prevent serious outcomes from infection. Fair enough (setting aside concerns about the safety of the vaccines themselves), but it remains true that the vaccinated were sold a false bill of goods, and that the public will remain in the grip of Covid restrictions as long as the number of cases rather than the number of hospitalizations and deaths continues to drive public policy.

We might say that this is a pandemic not of the vaccinated or the unvaccinated, but of the globalist elites and the health authorities who are in cahoots with them. Klaus Schwab's "great re-set" - a massive reordering of society on an anti-democratic model - remains the elephant in the room or the gorilla in the China (no pun intended) shop.

Speaking of gorillas, there is that well-known video often used in governmental and corporate team-building sessions in which the viewers are instructed to count how many times a basketball is tossed from person to person. Obsessed with the task of keeping track of the passing of the ball, most people never even notice that a man in a gorilla suit enters the scene about half-way through.

Watching this video is a humbling experience for most of us because it shows us that attention focused on one thing can render is oblivious to something else that is in plain sight. Is that what is happening with Covid? While we intently focus on the disease, can we even see that our freedoms are being stripped away?

Very well said eventually wether a vaccine supporter or not we all might be in the same place . Global coronavirus exercises a few months before actual pandemic say it all. The script played out exactly as they said it would .

The news media (national and local) has almost completely failed us during the pandemic. I once thought that a single local televison station could have collapsed the pandemic in its area through consistent accurate reporting of facts and through some genuine "investigative" journalism. It didn't happen.

The often cited 800,000 covid 19 deaths is an example of the news media failure. These were people who tested positive, with a test known to generate some false positives, and who died with a long list of comorbidities at average age of about 79 years. The figure 800,000 is useful to sow ongoing fear, but nearly useless in measuring the actual impact of the virus.

There have been many other related news media failures. A mainstream television station could still do a useful deap dive to tell us about who the ICU patients are now (instead of implying that they are all Omicron patients), about the rate of ICU use (I understand that it has always been about 80% of capacity or higher during such things as flew outbreaks), the cause of hospital staff shortages (no mention yet of hospital staff who are skeptical of vaccines because they see the results).......... and on and on.

I listen to a ham radio scanner on a regular basis. The number of vaxxed people in my area is high because it's basically a retirement community. At least 12 people who were vaxxed have died recently. And 3 others who I know personally are seriously ill.
