(READ) Biden promises veto if Congress passes law to stop Covid-19 vaccine mandate on private businesses

President Biden promises to veto a bill that aims to stop Covid-19 vaccine mandates for private businesses.

The U.S. Senate voted 52-48 to repeal the Biden’s Administration’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate on private businesses. The mandate requires private businesses with more than 100 employees to be vaccinated, undergo testing, or be fired.

The Senate vote was held on December 9 and is seen as another major setback for the Biden Administration as more courts rule temporarily rule that various vaccine mandates should not be allowed. Several Senate Democrats voted with Republicans to stop the mandate.

On December 7, a federal judge temporarily blocked Biden’s requirement for federal workers to be vaccinated. Earlier in the month, a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction to temporarily halt the administration’s vaccine mandate for health care workers.

Amid numerous court losses, there have been some victories for the mandates. The Supreme Court has refused to step in to stop a mandate for New York health care workers.

Hospitals and health care systems reports shortages of workers as significant percentages refuse to comply with mandates. Similar worker shortages are being reported in industries such as policing and education.

The Senate legislation may be little more than symbolic since it must pass the House and be signed by Biden to become law, and Biden has promised a veto if it gets that far.

  1. Congress passing an unnecessary law just muddies the waters. Since the courts have ruled that the Feds have no authority to impose a mandate on anyone, much less private business, the Senate doesn’t need to pass a law barring Biden from doing what he can’t do anyway.

  2. his reasons are not for the good of the american people. it is for the dnc money tree. every thing the big drug industries wonted they got amd got quick. befor the virrus it too 10 to 15 years to get a product like this out th the public. now it happens in weeks or months .(that industries need to answer why such a big time deffents ?? the virus is the dnc money tree and they need it .to buy people so they can still the next election and every one after that . because when they loose KARMA and accountable will bit them in the ass

    1. I don’t think that – for Biden – it is about money. He’s a bully, and the mandates are his way of forcing people he doesn’t like to do something they don’t want to do. And if refusing the vaccines gets people fired and ruins their lives, Biden is all for it. He’s a nasty, nasty man. Don’t believe me? Just ask the “Lying, Dog-Faced Pony Soldier.”

  3. How will we stop this infringement on our freedom if the president will veto it. Does he want a civil war? Cause I will fight on this hill till death..

  4. So, POTUS is threatening to veto a bill that explicitly denies him the power the court has already decided he doesn’t have?

Why is this bill needed in the first place?

Anyway POTUS is really a doofus.

  5. Biden is a straight up tyrant, he gave his soul to China. He doesn’t care about the American people and are freedom of choice. This man doesn’t deserve to be the President of this great country of ours. I say impeach him!!!
