Trump cancels Jan. 6 press conference due to ‘total bias and dishonesty’ of ‘fake news media’ and select committee members

January 4, 2022
Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
In light of the total bias and dishonesty of the January 6th Unselect Committee of Democrats, two failed Republicans, and the Fake News Media, I am canceling the January 6th Press Conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, and instead will discuss many of those important topics at my rally on Saturday, January 15th, in Arizona—It will be a big crowd! What has become more and more obvious to ALL is that the LameStream Media will not report the facts that Nancy Pelosi and the Capitol Sergeant-at-Arms denied requests for the D.C. National Guard or Military to be present at the Capitol. Their emails and correspondence with the Department of Defense exist, but the media won’t ask for this evidence, or report the truth!   This is the Democrats’ Great Cover-Up Committee and the Media is complicit. Why did Adam “Shifty” Schiff forge and change the statement of Congressman Jim Jordan without any consequence? Why will Crazy Nancy Pelosi not provide her communications with the House Sergeant-at-Arms and the House Chief Administrative Officer, or promise to retain these vital messages, which many feel she has already destroyed—perhaps illegally? Also, why is the primary reason for the people coming to Washington D.C., which is the fraud of the 2020 Presidential Election, not the primary topic of the Unselect Committee’s investigation? This was, indeed, the Crime of the Century.   I look forward to seeing our Great American patriots in Arizona next weekend for a big rally to Save America!

  1. I’m having issues getting your Full Measure After Hours podcast feed to update on Rhythmbox on Linux Mint Uma Cinnamon. Can you have your tech teams look into it? The Sharyl Attkinson Podcast seems to be updating OK. I’ve moved my podcast feeds over to Rhythmbox on Linux Mint so I’m able to access them on a non “big tech” platform in case “big tech” tries to censor your podcasts in the future. Thanks!

  2. I’m not sure this adds up. If he thinks the Select Committee is biased, then he should hold a press conference to refute them.
He was likely advised that he could incriminate himself. The Committee is not preventing him speaking, he chickened out.

    1. The story that I read was that the major networks were refusing to cover the news conference. That tells me that that is the reason that Trump called it off. It’s not that he “chickened out” (although that is possible). He just knew he wouldn’t be able to get the fawning attention that he can’t live without. I would have said that he couldn’t stand to be embarrassed by the lack of coverage, but we all know that Trump is incapable of embarrassment.

  3. I miss President Trump. The most Loyal President to America and her citizens in my lifetime. What he did for our country and the world shines in stark contrast to all Criminal Joe Biden has done and is doing to ruin The United States of America.

Biden’s actions throughout his first year have been Unconstitutional. From opening our border – during a pandemic, which has brought over 2 million illegals to our land and has the potential to destroy our National Sovereignty if they are allowed voting rights and access to our taxpayer funded resources, to his botched exit from Afghanistan, leaving our people behind and bringing in unvetted Afgans to our shores. Not to mention blaming healthy, unvaccinated people for the continuation of a virus, and unconstitutionally attempting to force companies to fire unvaccinated employees.

The constant stream of lies coming from his lips just doesn’t stop. A person of moral character and integrity could never do what Joe has done. He is a nightmare I never expected in my lifetime.

January 6th was not an insurrection. It was a peaceful protest by people who believed our election was stolen. The insurrection was lead by Nancy Pelosi and the Feds against President Trump and his supporters.

Our election should not have been certified. Never in our history has anything been so clearly stolen and Covid just happened to be the convenient reason for all the noise.

I don’t miss watching the abuse the MSM, Democrats and a few Republicans put President Trump through. But I sure miss the freedom we had, the security we had and it only took $17 to fill my gas tank and $100 at the grocery store went a whole lot further than it does today.

Joe and the Dems have got to go!

    1. How in the world can you pretend that January 6th was a peaceful protest.. did you not see those animals beating police with flagpoles, and fire extinguishers? Did you not see them spraying police with chemical sprays, breaking windows.?
Now they hundreds have been charged and the DOJ is hunting the rest of them down..

      1. LT’s description of the “peaceful protest” on January 6th was not referring to the “animals beating police with flagpoles and fire extinguishers”. The overwhelming evidence suppressed by the left and MSM demonstrates these destructive individuals were not Trump supporters.

      2. If you would do more research you would know that much of that was taking place while Trump was still speaking. They were not Trump supporters. So much that media doesn’t report, you have to dig deep to get the honest truth.

  4. Excerpt from Open Letter dated November 8, 2021 addressed to Senator Grassley & Senator Wyden , Congressman Thompson & Congressman Kelly

The raid on my home in 1981 by communist secret police was similar to the FBI raid on the
South Florida home of President Trump associate, Roger Stone. The FBI raid included about a half- dozen police vehicles and a dozen officers and agents in tactical vests and carrying large weapons. Stone appeared in his doorway in sleepwear with his glasses on. An agent asked him, “Are you Roger Stone?” and he said, “Yes.” The 68-year-old Stone was then led away. Mr. Stone is not a violent criminal or terrorist and should not have been threatened that way.
The Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement, led by Donald Trump and consisting of 70-plus million plus people, many of whom have suffered witch hunts and prosecution, reminds me of the anti-communist Solidarity movement of 1980–1981.

The 2020 presidential election in the United States reminds me of the elections in Poland in 1945–1956 when the country was under the control of the Stalin regime of the Soviet Union https://www.scribd.com/document/485320042/Rigged-Elections.
The fortification of Capitol Hill after January 6, 2020, with several thousand troops in place to install President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris was reminiscent of the Communist Party Headquarters in the Polish capital, Warsaw, in December 1981.
Arresting over 500 unarmed protesters after January 3, 2020, and keeping them imprisoned in terrible conditions was recently witnessed and documented by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene following her prison tour with other lawmakers (God Bless Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene for speaking out about hunted-down and incarcerated political prisoners: please see:
    https://americanlookout.com/rep-marjorie-taylor-greene-describes-horrific-conditions-of- jailed-january-6th-prisoners/
Besides, the killing an unarmed Air Force veteran with 14 years of service, Ashli Babbitt, and my own experiences in the State of California, gave me impression that the U.S. Democratic Party has as much in common with democracy as the communist party in Poland, named the “Polish United Worker Party” had in common with workers or with working people in general. Hopefully, more U.S Congress and Senate members will follow Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and a full amnesty be will be declared for the January 6, 2021 protesters on Capitol Hill.
Political prisoners should not be part of the United States of America’s principles and political landscape. The Sovietization and Stalinization of America, which began with the creation of the Department of Homeland Security two decades ago and enacting the Patriot will not work as it did in Eastern European Countries after WW II, which was accompanied by the unjust massive prosecutions , executions and deportation to Gulags of patriots by the Stalin’s NKVD who opposed the communist regime and Soviet domination.

  5. I guess those videos of police being beaten by flag poles and pepper sprayed and jammed in doorways were just manufactured out of whole cloth. After all, we know from Trump himself that there was “a lot of love” going on between the protesters and the police. And when Trump says something, it’s like the Pope speaking ex cathedra.
This retelling of the insurrection is perhaps the most stunning example of revisionist history that I can recall. Shortly after the insurrection, every Republican of note told the truth – that Trump was (as McConnell said) “morally responsible” for what happened. Then when they realized what that was doing to their reelection chances, they changed their tune. Suddenly they couldn’t remember what they had actually said to Trump that day, or it was time to move on.
But that wasn’t revisionist enough for Trump supporters. The next step took two paths. The first was to downplay what happened as if it were really some sort of “tourist” visit. To do that all that was required was to ignore the video evidence that a 6-year old could understand. And there was no need to even come up with a rational counterexplanation for the obvious violence – all that was needed was to say that it didn’t happen (or maybe you just say that the authorities allowed it to happen because, you know, we all like to get beaten now and then). Case closed. The second path was to blame it on “outside” agitators like Antifa or George Soros or the FBI. Again, no need for any evidence. Just saying it was enough to soothe everyone’s conscience. Sure, you had to ignore the fact that the vast majority of those arrested are known to be Trump supporters. But when you have ignored so many obvious things in the past, what’s one more? And there’s probably some conspiracy theory that can be spun out of it that would claim that those arrested really weren’t Trump supporters – they just posted those Trump-supporting messages on social media to throw us off the scent.
This two-pronged plan had something for everyone. On the one hand, there really wasn’t any serious violence. And even if there was, it wasn’t Trump supporters doing it. It’s a win-win.
And, of course, Nancy Pelosi had to be brought into it because why have a bad thing happen if you can’t blame it on Nancy Pelosi. Not that they had any evidence or any credible story. They just wanted to know “what did Nancy Pelosi know”. Just bringing her name into it would absolve Trump of any blame because we all know that she is so much worse than Trump.
Mixed in with this (naturally) is the absolution of Trump. After all, all he did was speak for an hour and a half using all kinds of martial language about stopping the election certification. But since he used the word “peacefully” once, that gets him off the hook. Who could argue with such logic?
And, of course, we all know how decisively and quickly Trump acted when things spiraled out of control. Then again, perhaps he did act quickly. The problem was that he acted quickly only after he decided that there was little further enjoyment to be had watching his supporters rampage through the Capitol on TV (as many have attested). And that’s understandable – we would all get bored after a few hours of watching the same show.
But the larger questions remain: does anyone with an IQ over cucumber believe that the January 6 insurrection would have happened absent Trump’s active support? Does anyone believe that Trump couldn’t have stopped the rally before it even started? Does anyone really believe that Trump was truly horrified by the day’s events (as he claimed) and did his best to stop the insurrection right after it started? And, most importantly, does anyone really believe that Trump acted in the best interests of the United States that day or any day since by continuing to spread the lies about the election?
The answers are more than obvious.
