Trump on Twitter’s removal of Marjorie Taylor Greene: ‘A disgrace to democracy’

January 3, 2022

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

Twitter is a disgrace to democracy. They shouldn’t be allowed to do business in this Country. Marjorie Taylor Greene has a huge constituency of honest, patriotic, hard-working people. They don’t deserve what’s happened to them on places like low-life Twitter and Facebook. Everybody should drop off of Twitter and Facebook. They’re boring, have only a Radical Left point of view, and are hated by everyone. They are a disgrace to our Nation. Keep fighting, Marjorie!

  1. The left keeps saying that the right is a “threat to democracy,” but it is the Biden administration that acts in secret and unilaterally whenever possible, and it is the left which practices rampant censorship of dissenting views.

    1. Stephen,
Democracy needs to be threatened and eliminated.

The Founders created a Constitutional Republic and a Nation of Laws. The Founders viewed “democracy” as something akin to “mobocracy” or “mob rule”. Ancient Greeks would have recognized as “Ochlocracy” or “rule by the mob”

The Founders saw mob rule the greatest threat to America and they put in place governmental checks and balances to protect individual rights from the riotous populace..
Two remaining checks are the Filibuster and the Electoral College and both are under attack the Democrats want them gone.

      1. I know all that but don’t want to rattle it off every time I make a post. My point is that they act hypocritically even in their own distorted terms.

  2. I believe that much of the energy behind the left’s vaccine mandates comes from the perception that most of the unvaccinated are conservatives. Forcing these people to be vaccinated against their will is thus a show of domination, a deliberate violation of their bodily autonomy. In fact, it is a form of symbolic rape.

    1. Interesting analogy and not at all a stretch. If there was a misery index, I’m betting a high score would have a positive correlation with those on the left

  3. Twitter should not censor anyone! By the way, the president cancelled his Mar-a-largo speech January 6. Attkisson prints all his announcements, so did I miss it or did Sharyl?

  4. Any online entity that chooses to censor users and content that disagrees with the owners is a publisher – and needs to be treated as such in the next GOP led Congress. These owners don’t yet realize the are killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.
