Trump on the refusal by ‘fake news media’ to report ‘record setting $122 million raised for Save America’

Donald Trump is one of the most important political figures of the day and, arguably, the most important Republican in national politics. But many in the media have taken the historic step of censoring him. For that reason, one of our goals is to publish information about Trump that is otherwise difficult-to-find.

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
The Fake News Media has done everything in their power not to report the record setting $122 million that has been raised for Save America and publicly announced last night, they hate that I broke all records. The Failing New York Times refuses to acknowledge that the power of the Trump endorsement is far stronger today than ever before—it is virtually unblemished! Our Country can never be strong again unless we have an honest, open, and fair media and sadly, our media is largely fake and corrupt. The people of our Country demand the truth!

  1. Re; “petulance” and media coverage of the money raised–re story all over the MEDIA as you say:
Do tell…because on the Yahoo splash page I see every morning, and in the plethora of headlines I see in my email every day–I have mostly seen things like Hilary may be our next president. Re “yellow journalism”–back to school Chas! I suggest you take Mark Crispin Miller’s excellent class on propaganda. Then again–I suppose it may be more entertaining for you to virtue signal among your peers.

  2. When I read this article earlier, there was a comment from someone whose name I don’t remember. Now that I have returned to this article to respond to that post, it seems to have been removed. So I am reposting it along with my comments.
    Original Post:
What a bunch of nonsense.. Mr Trump is ALL OVER the media and the story of his big haul is all over the media.. Man modern Republicans are whiners and paranoid and petulant. I do not know what happened to them, but ‘weak’ is the best word that comes to mind… But go ahead yellow journalism and keep pandering to someone that hates the Constitution and Democracy.
Trump is one of the most important political figures of the day and, arguably, the most important Republican in national politics. My Response:
I couldn’t agree more. Just Google this story and you will see that the NY Times, Reuters, CNN, the Financial Times, and ABC News all have stories about this. Yet somehow we are supposed to believe that information about Trump is “otherwise difficult-to-find”. Give me a break.
What is truly ironic is that while the information about Trump is hardly “difficult-to-find” in the MSM, what is “difficult-to-find” (at least in this self-described “nonpartisan” newsletter) are stories that describe the results of all of the myriad investigations into alleged voter fraud. Sure we have lots of stories of people making all sorts of bizarre claims about voter fraud covered herein in great detail. But there have never been any stories describing how those allegations have crashed and burned. Or there are stories that accentuate the potential harm from the vaccine; yet, there are none (as in literally zero) that provide the data about hospitalizations and death rates of the vaccinated and unvaccinated groups that show the benefits of the vaccine.
And don’t get me started on the coverage of the January 6th insurrection. All we have read about it in this newsletter is that there was one BLM supporter arrested and that the DOJ is “throwing the book” at those convicted. And a sympathetic article or two about Ashley Babbitt (but none about the police officers injured during the violence or those that died shortly thereafter).
And name one single story that has ever appeared in this newsletter that has painted Trump in a negative light.
There is one part of this response that I disagree with. I don’t think that Trump “hates the Constitution and Democracy”. He just doesn’t care about either of them. If he can use them to his advantage, then he’s a great supporter. But if they interfere with what he wants to do, well, too bad for them.

  3. Dear PDL,
Obviously , you are in support of the narrative. It is too bad that you can’t understand the lies that you have been told. It must be Russia, Russia, Russia that has infected your views.

    1. Some specifics would be nice on what the lies that “I don’t understand” are and what “the narrative” is that I support in order to respond. All I did was point out these things:
      1) SA‘s claim that Trump’s statements are “otherwise difficult-to-find” is not supported by the evidence.
      2) There are many examples of “difficult-to-find” information that are missing from this newsletter. These include information about the results of the myriad election fraud claims, information about the hospitalization and death rates in the vaccinated and unvaccinated groups, and a more complete story about the January 6 insurrection.
If these are not correct statements, then the response should be to correct me. For example, point me to articles where the “difficult-to-find” information has been provided in this newsletter.
And the response should definitely not be to bring up a straw man like “Russia”.
