Ninety-eight percent (98%) say they do not agree with President Biden’s assessment that Covid-19 is “still an emergency.”
That’s according to the latest poll of 1,288 people at SharylAttkisson.com.
We asked, “President Biden says we’re still in a Covid emergency. Do you agree?”
Only one percent (1%) said they agree with Biden, while another one percent (1%) answered, “I don’t know.”
Last month President Biden announced that the U.S. national emergency declared in March 2020, due to Covid-19 pandemic, would be extended beyond March 1 deadline.
The White House’s notice of continuation does not specify an end date.
Biden also just recently extended 100% federal reimbursement to the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Public Assistance Program (FEMA) through July 1 for all Covid-19 eligible costs.
This FEMA reimbursement policy was set to expire April 1.
