Almost half of Republicans pick former President Donald Trump as their candidate for the 2024 presidential race, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as the only strong alternative.
That's according to Rasmussen Reports.
Forty-seven percent (47%) of likely Republican voters chose Trump as the candidate they would most likely support as the Republican presidential nominee in 2024.
DeSantis ranked second with 20% followed by Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney (7%), Texas Senator Ted Cruz (6%) and former Vice President Mike Pence (5%).
Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo each got three percent (3%).
Three percent (3%) said they would support โsome other candidateโ in 2024, and one percent (1%) of Republican voters would support Kentucky Senator Rand Paul.

If the GOP wants my vote, they'll nominate Ron Paul or Kristi Noem. Trump gets the nom, and I'll sit out 2024, to0.
Make that Rand Paul. Ron would be sharper, even at his age, than Sleepy Joe or Trump, who will be 78 in 2024.
I live in Georgia where many conservatives chose to just "sit it out" during our runoff for a Senate seat - see where that got us! You don't show demonstrate anything by opting to not vote other than your own ignorance of math...folks who get the most votes win!
I'll like to see President Trump WINNING for 3rd time
I also will like Governor Dsantis or
Governor ABBOTT for Vice President
