(READ) US image improves across most of NATO

The following is an excerpt from Gallup News.

Gallup surveys conducted before Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 showed the image of U.S. leadership was stronger across much of NATO than it had been in years, after languishing at low levels during the Trump administration.

Between 2020 and 2021, U.S. leadership saw double-digit gains in 20 of the 27 NATO members surveyed both years.

In the aftermath of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, one of the big questions was how much damage the quick pullout might have done to Biden’s credibility on the world stage and whether it might hamper his future ability to work with U.S. allies.

While a fair number of NATO countries were surveyed before the U.S. withdrawal and it’s not possible to see how much of an effect that might have had on approval, a fair number were also surveyed during or well after the U.S. withdrawal.

  1. The countries, all but one, that showed a rise in approval of US leadership after Biden STOLE the 2020 election is the obvious result of their not liking Trump kicking their butts and making them take care of their share of the `tab`.

  2. any pollster could come up with such a result, it’s pure PR. the European NATO-countries are divided on the issue of NATO’s usefulness, but are too cowardly (and too corrupt) to make a clear stand against its bullying policies. even though there are strong anti-war sentiments among ordinary folks, we no longer have a strong anti-war movement. in that sense the EU shows itself like the undemocratic, supra-national and war-mongering organisation that it really is.

  3. Most of these Nato countries have been nothing more but a drag on the American tax payer. Hence, why Trump went after them the way he did back in 2018. Someone should post that 5 minute clip on here, for all to see. It was a thing of beauty.

  4. NATO-Schmato! Now that we know that the UN is working in cahoots with the WEF, and we can see the evidence for biolabs along the Ukraine/Russian borders, why would we consider NATO’s approval of US ‘war policy’ as credible or relevant? Is it really in the best interests of the world’s population to finance DoD-sponsored bioweapon labs across the border from Russia? …Those of us who are awake see the writing on the wall. NATO is past its prime, just as the EU and all the CFR cronies must be scrutinized and must be warily reconsidered–maybe even held accountable.
