Trump is one of the most important political figures of the day and, arguably, the most important Republican in national politics. But many in the media have taken the historic step of censoring him. Trump actually predicted this result in the interview, predicting the video would get "millions and millions of views," but would ultimately be taken down by "Big Tech."
Speaking to Fox News on Thursday, Trump likened the removal to the way Russian state media censors news about the invasion of Ukraine.
"This is what they do in Russia, you know, if you look at Russia ... the people in Russia don't even know they're fighting a war with Ukraine."Former President Donald Trump
YouTube and other Big Tech platforms have gotten caught in recent years censoring factually correct information about Covid and many other topics, while promoting false information. The platforms also often censor viewpoints and scientific studies or discussions that are against the Big Pharma/Government narratives or other political and social narratives.
