POLL: Approval of Congress remains low among independents

Independent voters largely say they do not think their Congressional representative is the best man or woman for the job.

That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.

About 30% of likely voters said their representative is the best person, down from 32% in September.

A larger percentage, 42%, say their person in Congress is not the best for the job, while 28% say they are unsure.

Among all voters, 41% say they don’t think their representative deserves to be elected again, but 39% say they think their representative does deserve to be reelected. Rasmussen Reports says 20% are unsure on that question.

  1. That does not bode well for America since I consider most Independents to be Democrats but ashamed to admit it. About the same with Libertarians.

As for the 42% who feel their person is not the best, but would prefer Manchin or would they prefer AOC. Need more info.
