Donald Trump will likely beat Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a bid for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. That’s if Trump decides to run.
That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.
Among likely voters, 40% said they think Trump would beat DeSantis in a head to head competition.
About half that, 22%, say they think DeSantis would win and 23% say they don’t think Trump or DeSantis would win the Republican nomination.
The final 15% said they aren’t sure.
I believe, after the obvious anti-Trump corruption and election meddling, if Trump does not win the nomination, a million voter will stay home for the general election. I like DeSantis for the future, but Conservatives will be just as angry in 2024 as they are after 2020.
Pity that Trump doesn’t make himself a king-maker instead of running again. We don’t need more division. We’re so close to falling into the abyss and a Trump run will do just that.

Honestly, I don’t understand the Trump obsession. Except the annoying personality and noise, DeSantis and Trump agree on most things and even approach. They just means it’s easier to sell Trump priorities to independents. Not too mention, we don’t need more 80 year olds running the country…
