Biden admin. to end Covid-19 testing for international airline passengers

The following is an excerpt from Just the News.

The Biden administration is reportedly expected to announce Friday that it will lift a federal requirement for international travelers to test negative for Covid-19 before entering the U.S, according to a senior administration official.

The change will take effect at midnight Sunday, according to CNN, which first reported the change.

The airline industry has asked the administration for months to end the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requirement that vaccinated international travelers test negative before being allowed on a flight into the United States, saying it was slowing the recovery of that part of the business, as domestic travel is rebounding from pandemic lows.

  1. When will they remove the interdiction for non vaccinated people to enter the USA through the airports? I know anyone can get in from Mexico without any restriction. Regards, Yves
