Few people say Ukraine is winning the war against Russia.
Sixty-five percent (65%) say Ukraine is not winning the war against Russia.
That's according to the latest unscientific poll of 1,204 people at SharylAttkisson.com
Only 3% said "Yes," Ukraine is coming out on top.
On February 24, Russian invaded Ukraine, escalating the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict that dates back to at least 2014.
The invasion was preceded by a Russian military buildup beginning early 2021, and numerous Russian demands for security measures and assurances that Ukraine would not be allowed to join NATO.
The conflict now moves into its sixth month with no clear outcome in sight.
Congress has approved $8.5 billion in fiscal aid for Ukraine since Russia's invasion.
On August 8, the US agreed to send an additional $5.5 billion in aid to Ukraine, including $4.5 billion in budgetary support and $1 billion in military assistance.
