(READ) Trump on FBI raid: All they had to do was ask; they did not need to seize anything

Donald Trump is one of the most important political figures of the day and, arguably, the most important Republican in national politics. But many in the media have taken the historic step of censoring him. For that reason, one of our goals is to publish information about Trump that is otherwise difficult-to-find.

Statement by Donald J. Trump
45th President of the United States of America

Number one, it was all declassified. Number two, they didn’t need to “seize” anything. They could have had it anytime they wanted without playing politics and breaking into Mar-a-Lago. It was in secured storage, with an additional lock put on as per their request. They could have had it anytime they wanted—and that includes LONG ago. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS ASK. The bigger problem is, what are they going to do with the 33 million pages of documents, many of which are classified, that President Obama took to Chicago?

  1. Thanks for being fair. We are facing very dangerous time for our country. We cannot let the ruling elite to destroy our country. We need fair journalists like you to keep government honest.

  2. Was the search warrant a subterfuge to seize other documents that exposed the FBI and/or DOJ role in “Crossfire Hurricane” or other operations? Since the seizure inventory wasn’t specific, we’ll never know.

    1. As a follow-on to my earlier comment….. Just think of all the additional documents the FBI had access to under the “plain view doctrine”: Attorney-client records, January 6 riot, Impeachment defense documents and so much more. Further, since there was no specific inventory turned over of all the boxes, what a great opportunity to plant false documents, and alter existing documents. The FBI wouldn’t do that….. would they? The chain of custody is already broken. It doesn’t take 30 agents 12 hours to pick up 20 boxes of documents…….

  3. According to numerous reports, the FBI visited Mar-a-Lago in June and inspected some or all of the boxed they seized in this week’s raid. Reports are that the meeting was cordial, and that the FBI gave no indication that the boxes contained anything that was being held improperly or illegally, or that posed a threat to national security.

Yet less than two months later, a warrant is issued, and the FBI seizes these same boxes, along with a few other items. Even then, several days pass between the issuance of the warrant and the actual raid. Some reports ominously suggest that some of the material pertained to “nuclear” issues, and there are suggestions that Trump somehow violated the Espionage Act.

All of this raises more questions than it answers, and once again we see an apparent double-standard in the operations of the DOJ and FBI. Merrick Garland can bluster and threaten all he wants, but Americans have a right to question the actions of their government. Read the Constitution, Mr. Garland,

  4. Maybe Trump should try and read the Constitution. But, he doesn’t read documents. The Trump cult worship is just baffling to me. The democratic experiment of the USA is coming to an end. The Chinese just need to bide their time….they will win without firing a shot.
