CENSORED: Russell Brand on Ivermectin

Actor and video blogger Russell Brand is questioning the double standard deployed by YouTube and other censors when it comes to attacking “misinformation.”

Why are some channels persecuted for misinformation when others are not?

Russell Brand

Brand says YouTube pulled down one of his videos after he made a mistake in it. In the video, he said that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) was recommending ivermectin as a Covid treatment. In fact, as Brand later followed up in an apology video, NIH is “trialing” the medicine, but not currently recommending it for people outside of its study.

The big news was largely lost in the kerfuffle: that the government, after falsely claiming that ivermectin was a “horse medication” and waving people off of it, is now studying its effectiveness. That’s something it presumably would not do if ivermectin were a disproven horse medicine.

In any event, Brand points out that YouTube treated his accidental misinterpretation of a fact about ivermectin far differently than it treats other misinformation. For example, YouTube has not censored the government or its widespread misinformation about masks, vaccines and other critical Covid-related topics.

In this video, Brand provided examples of CDC and media misinformation that was not censored.

He has moved his video series to Rumble, which doesn’t censor content.

    1. Sure does,…and we have a ton of it to go around. Our neighbor got sick with Covid, and started feeling much better the next day. Another family friend got it pretty bad. Same thing,…got him three days worth, and immediately started feeling better. The crazy thing, is that both got the jab and booster.

  1. It’s so nice to be able to express thoughts without suppress contradictory idiocy.
Truth is so refreshing. I have son who got covid this year no jabs. Said it was horrible. And last Christmas he almost died from bad liver. Is ivermectin good for post covid treatment.???
