(READ) FBI: Agent who differs with the agency’s controversial approach on Jan. 6 has ‘conspiratorial views’

Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit against FBI Director Christopher Wray on behalf of FBI analyst Marcus Allen for the alleged violation of Allen’s constitutional rights.

According to the lawsuit, the FBI falsely accused Allen of holding “conspiratorial views,” stripped his security clearance, and suspended him from duty without pay.

In reality, Judicial Watch contends, the FBI revoked Allen’s security clearance because his views are contrary to the FBI’s political narratives regarding the January 6 pro-Trump rally and Capitol occupation.

The new lawsuit details Allen’s outstanding military and FBI service as follows:

  • Because of his outstanding military service, [Allen] was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. In 2004, [Allen] was designated the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity Runner-Up for Intelligence NCO of the year.
  • In 2015, [Allen] joined the FBI as a staff operations specialist. Among other tasks, he has provided ad hoc all-source analytical support to the FBI Charlotte Field Office Joint Terrorism Task Force. He has consistently been rated “Exceeds Fully Successful” on his FBI performance evaluations. He received the FBI Charlotte Field Office Employee of the Year Award in 2019.
  • [Allen] first received a Top Secret security clearance in early 2001.

Despite Allen’s exemplary service, in a January 10 letter the FBI asserted the following:

  • The Security Division has learned you have espoused conspiratorial views both orally and in writing and promoted unreliable information which indicates support for the events of January 6th. These allegations raise sufficient concerns about your allegiance to the United States and your judgment to warrant a suspension of your clearance pending further investigation.
  • In a February 17, 2022, letter the FBI further notified Allen that he was being placed on administrative leave without pay due to the suspension of his security clearance.

The lawsuit states the following:

  • [Allen’s] allegiance is to the United States, as he has demonstrated during his years of exemplary military and law enforcement service to his country.
  • [Allen] was not involved in the events of January 6 and did not support them in any material way.  The FBI has made no allegation or offered any evidence to the contrary.
  • [Allen] has expressed no view that could be reasonably interpreted as personally expressing support or sympathy for any unlawful activity that occurred on January 6.
  • The FBI has not identified any specific statements or actions supporting its contention that Plaintiff has done otherwise.
  • Judicial Watch contends that the FBI did not give Allen a chance to clear himself, despite his repeated inquiries. In early May 2022, however, the FBI requested that Allen appear for an interview. He promptly complied.
  • The interview request came only days after FBI Director Wray was confronted by members of Congress over concerns that the FBI was weaponizing the security clearance process to target politically conservative employees. Since that time, Allen has received no further word on the status of the FBI’s investigation.

On June 7, 2022, Rep. Jim Jordan, the lead Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to Wray regarding the firing of FBI employees, noting that, “Multiple whistleblowers have called it a ‘purge’ of FBI employees holding conservative views.”

The lawsuit alleges several violations of Allen’s First and Fifth Amendment rights and asks that Allen’s security clearance and employment be restored.

“The FBI can’t purge employees based on political smears. Judicial Watch seeks to remind the FBI that it is not above the law with this civil rights lawsuit for Mr. Allen, a decorated Marine veteran and highly regarded FBI employee,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.”

  1. I dare say it’s time for more of the so-called adults in the three letter agencies to grow up and become adults. As if conspiratorial agendas have never ever occurred throughout history? A conspiracy is merely a business plan. This is yet one more example of the classic gaslighting defense used by the Left who are anti-US constitution, and therefore– conspiratorial in their efforts to discredit credible whistleblowers. Don’t look at the man behind the curtain! Where’s Toto when we need him?

  2. Everything is a conspiracy these days. Good people are being destroyed one by one. Are there more corrupt people than honest ones in this country? It seems so.

  3. Now that we know, thanks to tranches 7 and 8 of the Twitter Files just how deeply corrupt the FBI had become, how involved it was in undue influence in the 2020 election, and furthermore knowing how the FBI spied on Trump when he was running for President, continued to spy on him when he was elected and continued to do so after he was the sitting President, it’s clear what the January 6th agenda is all about.

I can’t believe I wrote that all in one sentence.

  4. The only way this corruption against our Country will stop is by dismantling the FBI and rebuilding it from the bottom up with real agents wanting to secure and take care of our Country. Keep the FBI from being political and simply serve our Country.

  5. “Conspiracy theory” is the new “you’re a racist” of the internet; it no longer means much since it is used as a weapon to discredit and silence an exchange of ideas.

  6. Another example of Marxist reach (oops- too conspiratorial) in American Bureaucracy. The FBI has a history of self-serving leadership (Hoover, Mueller, Comey) but the Comey-Wray obsession with all things Trump, COVID, and thought policing steers the ship toward appearance of national police, persecution of conservatives, and dedicating the national resources of a free nation to active support of democrats. Shame on Christopher Wray.

  7. It’s apparent that the FBI is above the law.
Maries says that the corrupt won’t stop themselves. What happened
in WWII Germany, is exactly what is happening here.
The corrupt bad guys, got so strong, they took over everything without resistance. Im sure that citizens were as appalled then as we are now.
Our government is the only thing that can stop them, but the corrupt control the government now. The left, though, seems intent on destroying the USA. I’m wondering what will happen when it desolves into nothing, as the infrastructure breaks down. I don’t think that the driving left know what they’ve brought upon us.
    Coulter was right: Adios America!

  9. I think it’s the absolute truth. What the FBI is doing is so legally wrong and eventually their own actions will seal their own fates. There will be a reckoning and it won’t be pretty. Those who have been involved in the coverups and the pushing of the vaccines and the threat of consequences if you don’t take the jab, it has all been illegal. It tramples on the Constitution, and they have basically broken every law that we currently have. They do so with impunity as though they are allowed to.

Every wrong thing always has a consequence. They might want to think about that. They are working against the American People and at some point, we will fight back. They are trying to disarm us, but we won’t allow that. The Omnibus Bill has another gun law in it, but of course that will end up before SCOTUS. They never learn.

    So…. Where are the cops?
There seems /there have been so many egregious actions by the fbi, the federal government, hunter b, the big guy, the dnc . This is a partial list, of course. Such collusion by the fbi should be dealt with. How is this fbi not the same as organized crime? If nothing else, Americans require fairness.
The democrats/ fbi/dnc/news media have shown that they know how to stack the deck.
So I ask again. Where are the cops???
