Biden’s approval nudges up in December


President Biden’s monthly job approval was 47% in December, up three points from November.

This is according to the latest polling numbers from Rasmussen Reports.

Twenty-six percent (26%) of voters “strongly approved” of Biden’s job performance in December, up three points from the month before.

Forty-two percent (42%) “strongly disapproved,” down three points from November.

This gives him a full-month Presidential Approval Index rating of -16 for December, six points better than November.

Four years ago in December 2018, Trump had an Approval Index of -7.

When Trump first took office in January 2017, he earned a full-month Approval Index rating of -4 after his first full month.

During his final full month in office, his Approval Index rating was -8.

Trump’s lowest Approval Index rating was -21 during July and August of 2017, but improved in 2018 after his State of the Union speech that year.
