(POLL) Most don’t expect Biden to be impeached over document scandal

Most voters say they don’t think Congress will impeach President Joe Biden over his mishandling of classified documents, although nearly equal numbers believe he is as guilty as former President Donald Trump of criminal wrongdoing.

That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.

Sixty-four percent (64%) say they think it’s unlikely the document scandal will lead to impeachment, with 31% saying it is not at all likely that Congress will impeach Biden.

The survey finds that 29% say it’s likely that Congress will impeach Biden over his mishandling of classified documents, with just 12% who see impeachment as “very likely.”

Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed special counsels to investigate both Trump and Biden for their handling of classified documents.

Twenty-seven percent (27%) of voters say they believe both Biden and Trump are guilty of crimes related to their handling of classified documents; while 28% say they think only Trump is guilty and 27% say they think only Biden is guilty.

Chronology of Biden document scandal

Nine percent (9%) say they believe neither Trump nor Biden is guilty of crimes related to classified documents, and another 10% say they are not sure.

  1. Biden is a clown. Had he any integrity he would have immediately acknowledged, publicly, that he had no business having classified documents anywhere they have now been found. What he sadly does not get is that owning up to one’s mistakes immediately and taking responsibility is a key to credibility.
