(POLL) Majority: ‘It’s OK to be white’

Despite years of well-funded progressive activism, a majority of Americans, both Democrats and Republicans, say they don’t buy into the “woke” narrative that white people have a monopoly on racism.

That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.

The survey finds that 79% of American adults agreed with the statement, “Black people can be racist, too,” including 53% who “strongly agreed.”

Just 12% disagreed, and another 10% said they were not sure.

Similarly, 72% of Americans agreed with the statement, “It’s OK to be white” – a slogan that originated on the 4chan Internet forum and has been labeled “hate speech.” That includes 58% who “strongly agreed.”

Twelve percent (12%) said they disagreed with the “OK to be white” slogan, while 17% said they were not sure.

Support for “OK to be white” crosses political lines.

Majorities of Democrats (51%), Republicans (73%) and those not affiliated with either major party (52%) “strongly agreed” that “It’s OK to be white.”

Fewer Democrats (39%) than Republicans (67%) or the unaffiliated (53%) “strongly agreed” that “Black people can be racist, too.”

Still, even among Democrats, only 19% disagreed with that statement.

  1. Sharyl and Full Measure Team,

    No mention of the “Dilbert”
    controversy ?

    Or had that dust-up happened
    after your line-up of featured
    articles ?

      1. Robert Latta,

The woman who had the guts
to bring a lawsuit against Deep
        State operators is “gutless” ?

        No !

        Thanks for relating that 47%

  2. Listening to “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” now. Some of the comments made against whites today, particularly by talking heads on programs like the View and even some of our elected officials, harken back to some of the scapegoating, race-baiting comments of the 1930s in Italy and Germany. Racism of all types is wrong. Holding an entire race accountable for the actions of some is racist.

      1. Mary and Susan,

        Read Aristotle’s warnings:

        On race-mixing:

“Another cause of revolution is difference of races which do not at once acquire a common spirit; for a state is not the growth of a day, any more than it grows out of a multitude brought together by accident. Hence the reception of strangers in colonies, either at the time of their foundation or afterwards, has generally produced revolution.”

        On bad democracy:

“[T]he last form of democracy . . . [in which] all share alike . . . [and] the leaders have been in the habit of including as many as they can, and making citizens not only of those who are legitimate, but even of the illegitimate . . . This is the way in which demagogues proceed. Whereas the right thing would be to make no more additions when the numbers of the commonality exceeds that of the notables and of the middle class,—beyond this not to go . . . [these] measures taken by tyrants appear all of them to be democratic. Such a government will have many supporters, for most persons would rather live in a disorderly than in a sober manner.”

On how to install bad democracy:

”Fresh tribes and brotherhoods should be established; the private rites of families should be restricted and converted into public ones; in short, every contrivance should be adopted which will mingle the citizens with one another and get rid of old connections.”

  3. Let’s face it , the Left hates white , conservative people who believe in the Constitution . THEY are the ones ginning up this race war , hoping that blacks and minorities will do their dirty work for them or so it seems .

  4. Those of us who are white have no choice any more than blacks, Asians, Hispanics have of changing their skin color. As the Rev MLK preached, we must take the character of a person;s heart and not the color of their skin.

It has been my experience that those who practice racism are the minority, at least in the USA. Unfortunately racism exists in individuals of all skin color, all religions, political ideology and in about any method one chooses to divide the human race but especially by political ideology today.
I cannot change my skin color and I have no intention of changing my patriotic conservatism to please the left.

    1. So, Jeff :

How do you perceive the “heart”
      difference between a pit bull
      and, say, a poodle ? !

      UNIVERSAL—for plants
      and animals and MAN.
