State Dept. gives money to charity group that partners with known terrorist group

The following is an excerpt from Just the News.

The State Department reportedly gave over $41,000 to Fares Al-Arab, a non-profit based in Gaza that partners with Hamas, as a grant to help journalists with their English skills.

The 15-month project funded by the U.S. government started in September, according to the grant documents

Fares Al-Arab spokesperson Areej Al-Massry said her organization’s “views on Israel will not be part of the media training program,” the Free Beacon reported Wednesday.

Fares Al-Arab started in 2006, the same year Palestinians voted Hamas into power.

Hamas is designated by the U.S. State Department as a foreign terrorist organization.

The non-profit is licensed by Gaza’s Interior Ministry and partnered with the government as recently as 2021 to raise awareness for breast cancer.

That same year, the group worked with Gaza’s Public Works ministry to help repair homes damaged in a confrontation sparked by Hamas rocket attacks on Israel.

“It’s no surprise that the Biden State Department is funding groups committed to inciting violence against Israel and waging economic warfare against our Israeli allies,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told the D.C. outlet.

  1. When Israel gave money to Palestine to build schools and educate their children, they took that money and built a tunnel to Israel to Invade and kill the Israelis! Palestine is ONLY interested in the DESTRUCTION of Israel and NOTHING else!

  2. Sharyl,
I recently visited Israel. It’s never been more complicated. Israel is an important country in our world, but the history of the Palestine people seems to be forgotten.
If people knew what has happened to the Palestinians over the decades, people might understand (not support a terrorist group, but at least understand) why Hamas came to power.
It’s been years since someone credible reported on the conflict. It’s about the truth.
I would so much appreciate a non-bias old fashioned journalistic examination on what’s going on in that country and the occupied territories within.

  3. Israel was polluted a long long time ago. Rothschild money, the Balfour deception, and most notorious of all –the Khazarian Zionist mafia. A money laundering operation siphoning dough off the US taxpayers since the nation/state was created.
