(POLL) Most everyone supports stricter voting requirements

Ninety-four percent (94%) of respondents say they support paper ballots, one-day voting, and voter ID requirements for Election Day.

That’s according to the latest unscientific poll of 1,398 people at SharylAttkisson.com.

An additional four percent (4%) say they support the measures in part, while 1% say they do not favor such requirements.

Voter identification laws require voters to present some form of identification in order to vote at the polls. In some states, photo identification is required.

As of December 2022, 35 states enforced or were scheduled to begin enforcing voter identification requirements.
