    1. You were probably correct. I’d say the era of centralized involvement in the daily lives of all cirizens began around 1960

      1. I agree. I was 14 in 1960, graduated high school 1964, joined Army 1964-67. I remember vividly how the government (LBJ) started with the “Great Society” bs. That’s when I noticed how liberals & their policies were gaining ground in everyday citizens lives.
It has continually gotten worse til this day. Love him or hate him, Trump is the only recent President to try to turn government around. It’s going to take a lot of “Trump’s” to correct the corruption in our government!

  1. I think the 1960s and 70s were pretty good but I’d think in retrospect that is where the deep state really started to march us in an unrelentless move toward global world order. It is definitely when they got their tentacles deeply entrenched into academics. The entrenched into healthcare was facilitated by EHRs, the architecture of which was laid in the Obama era. As one in the tail end of baby boomers I know we are the last generation to live without centralized involvement in every aspect of our lives

  2. I think the best years were the 1950’s & 1960’s.
The mid to late 60’s things started “going south” as LBJ started his “Great Society” & things started going to hell and has continued on that path ever since, to current day.
