(POLL) Mental health seen as biggest culprit for mass shootings

With yet another mass shooting in the news, most see mental health problems as the biggest culprit.

That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.

The survey finds that 42% say mental health is the most to blame for mass shootings in America, while 29% blame access to firearms.

Another 11% say social media is more to blame for mass shootings, while seven percent (7%) blame school problems and six percent (6%) say they think family problems are more to blame.

These findings are only slightly changed from March 2022.

About two-thirds (67%) of voters say they believe it is likely that a recent attack on Nashville’s Covenant School will inspire similar “copycat” attacks on Christian schools, including 32% who say they think it’s “very likely.

Twenty percent (20%) say they don’t think “copycat” shootings are likely, and 12% say they are not sure.

    1. Amen! I’ve tracked this issue for years and some of the books / sources I’ve read include Peter Schrag’s ‘Mind Control’ (amazing, I just saw a TV ad for a tardive dyskinesia ad today and he mentioned this as a side effect decades ago). Also Ann Blake Tracy’s DrugAwareness.org — she’s helped a lot of people wean off the SSRIs and other drugs. And don’t forget the mighty Dr. Peter Breggin who testified on the dangers of Prozac, and has been warning us for years about these. Plus the black box warnings on the boxes even say “may cause homicidal or suicidal ideation.” Seems like Aldous Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ has become the grave new world — so we’d better wake up and stop drugging Americans into the self-destruct mode!!

  1. BS. The behavior is the result of the gynocracy (rule by wamanz) of the public schools, driving young men insane.

  2. Agree that this is a “behavior” issue.
In a normal world the parents of the offspring control the behavior, not the schools.
