Months ahead of the first 2024 primaries, former President Donald Trump leads his would-be challengers for the Republican presidential nomination by a substantial margin.
That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.
The survey, conducted before Tim Scott’s entry to the race, finds that 62% of likely Republican voters would vote for Trump in the primaries, while 17% say they would choose Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Several other announced or possible 2024 Republican candidates have single-digit support among GOP voters: Former Vice President Mike Pence (6%), former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley (5%), former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (3%) and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy (2%).Â
Sixty-five percent (65%) of all likely U.S. voters say it’s at least “somewhat likely” they’ll vote in next year’s Republican primaries, including 52% who say it’s “very likely” they’ll vote in the 2024 GOP primaries.
Among those who say it is “very likely” they’ll vote in next year’s Republican primaries, Trump’s lead is somewhat smaller – 53% to 18% for DeSantis – followed by Pence (4%), Haley (4%), Hutchinson (3%) and Ramaswamy.

Strategic, because they know they have a much better chance of winning the next election if Trump advances through the primaries.
Polling is not voting!
In my opinion, illegal vote counting in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada has not been abolished corrected by their state legislatures.
2024 will be no different than 2020.
